Channicool Training Services Limited is a specialist Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical and Renewable Energy training company. We are a City and Guilds, BPEC, EAL and Construction Skills (CITB) approved training centre, offering a vast selection of short and long-term courses including brazing courses, plumbing, refrigeration and air conditioning diplomas, technical certificates and NVQs, water regulations, vented and unvented course, IEE 17th edition wiring regulations, short electrical and heat pump installation courses, DIY plumbing courses plus many others.

All our instructors are qualified teachers and assessors with over 8 years’ experience within their relevant sectors. Each instructor has a proven track record in delivering exceptional results from technical certificates and NVQs to various trade specific short courses.

About Us

Originally formed by Andy Channon in 2009, we have grown to become a leading training provider in the region with over 150 trainees passing through our doors annually, alongside 20 apprentices on their respective 2 year courses.

We have worked hard to build a reputation of excellence, always striving to provide the very highest quality training at affordable prices – ensuring your business continues to reach the demands of its market with an efficient and productive workforce.

We are adept in training both young and mature students and classes are restricted to a maximum of 8 to ensure quality is maintained and you receive the training you deserve!
Andy Channon and John Parsons

Managing partner, Andy Channon is currently recognised within the industry as one of the top trainers in the country. Andy oversees the refrigeration, air conditioning (heat pump) and electrical departments. His most recent achievements include students winning the gold and bronze awards at the prestigious RAC student of the year awards. This achievement resulted in him being chosen by the City and Guilds to become one of their prestigious Qualification Consultants.

John Parsons oversees our plumbing and renewable energy departments. John has over 42 years’ experience in the plumbing trade and teaching establishments. He has a proven track record in delivering results within the plumbing sector and is highly rate by his peers and students alike. John is also a City and Guild’s Qualification Consultant and looks after 26 centres in this role.

As both Andy and John hold these prestigious City and Guild titles, it’s a clear demonstration of the quality of our courses, and ensures that Channicool Training Services Ltd always delivers training to the highest standards for each of our relevant schemes.
