Zac’s 2 years at Cherbourg’s Little Stars has come to an end 😢. We cannot thank Teresa , Cheryl, Jasmine, Rachel, Laura, Erika and Chloe enough for the ⭐️FANTASTIC⭐️ care and love they have shown Zac over the last two years. The skills and knowledge he has learnt and friendships he has built will stay with him forever. You all provided the very first steps to his education and myself and Nick are forever grateful. Teresa, you have built and continue to build an environment w...hich is not only valuable to the children along their journey, but their parents as well. Cheryl, you have been the best key worker Zac could have had, your words in his card were personal and thoughtful. I don’t tend to get emotional these days, but I did today! As for his learning journal, well, 248 pages of amazingness!! I can’t stop looking through it. Thank you so much Little Stars, I look forward to being a part of the children and staff journeys as Chair Person of this wonderful pre school. ❤️

The caterpillars have been busy. Just before half term 3 of them cocooned. We transferred them to their home on Saturday and we have been waiting and waiting ...............

The caterpillars have spent the weekend at our house 🐛. Basil has been doing an amazing job looking after them 😸. They have grown so much already

Our current topic is Bugs and Insects. We looked after Cherbourg Primary's Wormworld for the week and the children enjoyed watching the worms move around. When i got home yesterday our Caterpillars had arrived in the post. We are going to enjoy watching them with the children over the next few weeks as they change into Butterflies.

⚽️Cherbourg have been offered tickets for Eastleigh FC’s home game on Easter Monday against Maidenhead Utd (3pm KO). Tickets can be collected from Cherbourg Primary School on Thursday 18th April between 3-5:30pm. They are being offered on a first come first served basis and a maximum of 4 per family.⚽️

Teresa and Jasmine have been busy making Bunnies and Chicks ready to raise some money for pre school, they are only £1! Delicious cakes for sale too, 4 for £1...even I did some baking 😊! And lastly, grab yourself some raffle tickets, 5 tickets for £1 and be in with a chance of winning a lovely Easter hamper. Well done to all who contribute and raise money for Cherbourg Little Stars, without you, there wouldn’t be a Pre School 🥰. Carla - Chair

Jasmine and myself spent yesterday finishing off Rabbits🐰 and Chicks 🐥 £1 each and hubby and i have been busy today baking 🍰 cakes 4 for £1. This can only mean one thing. Easter fundraising starts tomorrow. There will also be an Easter Hamper which is being raffled at £1 for 5 tickets. The staff all make cakes for our fundraising events and if parents would like to make any, donations are always gratefully received. Thank you Teresa
