Hello. We are a friendly society and we provide our Members with a regular income should they become unable to work and earn a living due to of illness or injury.
We are proud of our Member-owned ‘mutual’ status, which aligns the interests of the business and those who own it; our Members. Our philosophy is simple – we exist for the benefit of our Members.
Cirencester Friendly was established in 1890. Primarily formed for the benefit of the agricultural workers based in Gloucestershire, today we cater for the income protection needs for all walks of life across the UK.
With 126 years experience we are committed to providing the highest quality income protection but don’t just take our word for it. . . We have been recognised by a number of independent industry bodies including Moneyfacts and FT Adviser.

The Society is in the process of moving operations from its two existing sites in Cirencester to a modern purpose built office in South Cerney just three miles from Cirencester.
The Society is currently de-commissing old servers at its existing offices and during the process there will be temporary fluctuations in both technology and communications capability.

Yesterday we had a lovely day supporting our Charity of the Year, Gloucestershire Young Carers! With support from our staff to the generosity from passers by, we managed to raise £340.04! Thank you to everyone who donated!
