Hey there! My name is Clare and I have recently started working with Winner's 2000 as a gym guardian. I combine this with my Personal training both at Paignton and Torquay Winner's. I combine a fun, holistic, energetic and structured approach when working with my clients. I have a wealth of life experiences, which has helped me really connect to such a wide variety of people, from all walks of life. This makes my services in personal training unique. Every program is tailored for you, every session specific to your health and fitness goals. All of my training programs and nutritional plans are researched and carefully planned. What you gain and achieve, as we work together, is important to me! !

Hey there! My name is Clare and I have recently started working with Winner's 2000 as a gym guardian. I combine this with my Personal training both at Paignton and Torquay Winner's. My sister, Lynne Murch, a member of Winners, told me about Clare's 55+ classes which started at the end of February this year. I have always been put off joining Winners for fear of feeling intimidated by so many youthful, fit bodies.!

I am 70 and although basically fitter than many my age, I was still nervous going into the gym for the first time, even with my sister holding my hand!!

However, I have to say Clare's weekly classes have been brilliant. For one thing we are all in the 50 - 70+ age group. Clare is very kind, considerate and patient with us oldies. The classes are tailored so we work to our individual abilities. She is a stickler for technique, which is so important. The classes have been held in a a separate room above the gym, but This week we completed our last 10 minutes working on the prowler in the gym.

I would like to see more older people join this group. Maintaining strength and mobility as you get older is so important.

My personal aim is to improve core stability and general strength. For others it may be losing weight and gaining general fitness.

I think Winners could do more to promote the gym to older folk.

My daughter told me about a new class starting with Clare for the over 55's. I wanted to make a lifestyle change focusing on my weight and fitness. Since joining the class back in February, I have lost weight, increased my energy levels considerably and gained confidence I didn't know I had through exercise. I would never have been able to do this without Clare's continuous encouragement, motivation, knowledge and personalised support. She makes the class specific to your individual needs, creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. An added bonus is I've made some new friends in the process! Moving forward, I would like to continue to challenge myself enabling good fitness and mobility.

Clare is an amazing trainer who inspires you to make positive changes in your life to create a healthy lifestyle. I've been yo-yoing for years now and I finically feel like I've got the support I need to make sustainable healthy changes which will consequently help me reach my goals. I'm really happy I've found someone to promote moving away from fad diets and inconsistency. During training sessions Clare has a good balance of appropriate and challenging exercises coupled with motivation and an excellent knowledge of food etc to help outside of the gym. Thank you!

Clare has been my Rock!!!

When I first started I was all over the place, diet horrendous, training minimal, low self esteem, suffering from depression, rock bottom immune system! Clare with her enfusiasm and passion has helped me more than words can say or you could imagine. She set me a food plan, eating more than I ever have but of the right food, I'm not getting ill anymore, I'm not depressed, My fitness has improved to the point I'm entering a competition (didn't think I could do that again). But if I fall off at any time she's always there to pick me up and get me motivated again. Also the friends I've met and made through Clare are lifelong friends! THANK YOU CLARE!!!
