NEW FACES BEHIND THE BAR
We are delighted to share the news that we have new Stewards in charge of the bar and clubhouse. Sally & Shep will be sharing the role, some of you may remember Shep from his time behind the bar some 30+ years ago!! Please come in and make them feel welcome.
We would also like to thank Josie for all her hard work over the past couple of years, and assistance with handing over to Sally & Shep. Enjoy your summer off Josie, and good luck with whatever adventure awaits in Septemeber.

BAR STEWARD REQUIRED
COLEHILL SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB
START DATE: 1st June 2019... (with one month shadow training)
Colehill Sports & Social Club invite applications for the position of Bar Steward.
Applicants should be over 21, with relevant bar experience; although bespoke, in house training will also be given.
We are looking for a responsible, efficient and friendly person who is able to operate on their own or as part of a team. Although employed by a committee; you will be responsible for day to day running of the bar and club facilities. Salary / Hours to be negotiated.
Duties include (but not limited to) :- • Serving behind bar • Provision of staff in your absence • Weekly staff rotas • Weekly bookkeeping and banking of takings and arranging sufficient change for weekly needs. • Payment of contracted and non-contracted staff • Point of contact with accountants • Responding to all club emails and enquiries • Sorting of post for club and committee members • Booking of all parties and events in diary • Point of contact for all follow ups to enquiries • Dealing with all customer requirements and complaints • Out of hours opening to allow trade and group access as required • Ordering of all stock for bar from the various club suppliers • Ordering of all stock for club facilities and maintenance. • Ordering of stock for kitchen and toilets. • Buying and preparing food for Darts, Pool and Skittles teams. • Ad-hoc shopping at Makro to fill any stock shortfalls • Ad-hoc cleaning of club facilities as required between regular cleaning. • Immediate attendance in response to alarm company • Immediate attendance when suppliers have a delivery
