I wanted to write something about our family dog and mascot. People have always asked why we chose an American Bulldog and apart from the obvious answer, “Because they’re awesome!” ABs like any other dog breed are wonderful companions. This week however, due to tragic events in the news recently, I’ve had so many strangers keeping their distance and asking if he’s safe, which has saddened me greatly. Dogs only want to please their owners and it’s awful to think about the anim...als which have harmed, what sort of abuse they must have endured to behave in a way that should never have happened. Gus is a wonderful boy, who is loved by his family and it shows. A celebrity around town he’s always with us at events and is a hit with the children and elderly alike. As Cesar Millan says, it’s about educating the owners. There’s no such thing as a bad dog, just bad owners. Be kind to our four-legged friends. Happy Easter!

The only thing that would make this trip better was if our favourite snack hadn’t been confiscated at the border, but they obviously know a tasty snack when they see it 😉 #coppernose
