Something a little special fitted to Hielke's recent builds

Abbreviated shrink grips - with an added feature.
If you would like the shrink grips on your new rods to have an extra special touch, ask us to add a stainless (or Delrin if you prefer a stealth build) collar in the front, as seen here on Marius' Aviators.
The little 3mm collar gives a lovely edge and really sets the grip off, especially when finished with matching caps.

Incredibly versatile, great from both the bank and boat, these blanks are super light and have great feel to them.

Following on from the taped handles last week, how do you like these DPM duplon builds, seen here on something rather special ­¤ż½ These arenŌĆÖt available yet as they are still in production. We will pop a post out with new build, rebuild and component pricing when they are ready.

I put these out in Instagram a few weeks back and had so many enquires on them it was insane. Although these Nash Tackle Scope handles are taped, we should have pics of our new DPM duplon shortly. Although not everyones cup of tea, there is certainly a niche for it.

Have had a little break from FB, purely due to being so busy I need to be busy building and not typing! A little more caught up again, so I can show you some of the fantastic rods that have been leaving our workshop here.

Old Skool rebuilds!
We brought Daves Bruce Ashby Perimiter XP rods kicking and screaming into 2019 with a full, bare carbon rebuild. These rods have great sentimental value and rather than buy new, Dave wanted them refurbished to the very highest standard.
... It was a time consuming process. The original fittings were cut off and varnish on the blanks was carefully removed with strokes from a super sharp blade, until no colour remained. The joints were re cut before blanks were then lathe sanded, cleaned and prepped for a couple of fresh coats of paint at the Harrison factory.
Once back, these classics were rebuilt with modern fittings, but with an Old Skool twist. Full duplon handles, with extended front grip and stealth cork trims were bonded on, before a set of American Tackle Company TiForged Snagless guides were fitted, whipped in black.
A fresh new look has been given to these retro classics, lets hope they catch some more huge carp!
