All jewellery is made from waxed thread. This thread is incredibly strong and resistant to wear and tear. Upon purchasing your jewellery, the string clasp will be resistant to moving as it is still coated in wax. The wax should disappear after wearing a few times and it will become easier to open and close your jewellery.
The string is water resistant, although I cannot promise that all pendants and beads will be!
