Hi everyone sorry for the lack of communication recently. It's with a heavy heart that we have to announce that we can't get a suitable venue sorted for this year. So looks like the Green Vibes Festival will be taking place next year instead. Please stay tuned for more information and details via this page. - The show will go on! :) Shelley x

Hi everyone putting a call out for traders, artisans, organisations, businesses and more! I have been running a successful events company for the last 7 years and have previously held vintage fairs, called Crikey Its Vintage! We are now wanting to take a turn in direction and focus on a more ethical and sustainable way of living with an added area around well-being.
We already have a strong fan base across social media platforms of over 14,000 followers and with our experienc...e of well organised and popular events we feel this new turn in direction will be a great success. Previously we have worked with the National Trust, Poltimore House and The Exeter Royal Academy for the Deaf.
The Green Vibes festivals! The purpose of these events are to bring together a collaboration of traders, businesses and local artists to showcase how you can live a better more ethical, and sustainable way of living with the added bonus of looking after your own well being. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about these topics and how to adopt them into everyday living.
These events will have focuses on the following topics.
Ethical Living - We shall be looking for traders that sell ethical goods and have strong ethics. I feel it's important for people to consider the ethics behind the products and that they are aware of the process involved of what items they are buying.
Sustainable Living - We shall be looking for traders that have great values, awareness and ideas as to how their products or services can benefit the environment and bring awareness to people attending the event. To teach people how they can be more mindful when purchasing goods and live a more sustainable way of life.
Self Growth and well-being - I will have a variety of individuals/groups that promote self care and well-being, through workshops, and talks covering areas such as meditation sessions, yoga workshops, mindfulness, pilates, crystal healing etc. Also I am talking to local organisations and charities centred around these areas.
We are also looking for local food sellers that focus on healthy eating locally produced foods.
Please get in touch if you feel your wares cover the following criteria; pre-loved, up cycled goods, locally made beauty products, if you are an artist using a variety of mediums to create your own style of art, jewellery sellers, clothes makers, or you sell ethical goods. If your not sure then please just get in touch and ask us. And if you would like to find out more information about this event, visit our page Crikey The Green Vibes Festival and leave us a direct message and we shall get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks Shelley x

Wow 60% is recycleable! I’ve visited @exetercouncil website to find out exactly what you CAN put in your green bin and it’s ALOT! Let’s try and do our bit for the environment...
1. What can I put in the bin?
It is easier, quicker and safer for our workers to sort materials if you do not 'bag up' items in your recycling container.
... These can go in your green bin:
Drink cans (empty) Food tins (empty) Aerosols (empty) Biscuit tins and lids Aluminium foil Puree tubes (leave lids on) Plastic bottles - including household cleaning product bottles (empty, with the lids on) Plastic food containers (empty) Polythene or plastic film and wrap (including bubble wrap) Newspapers and magazines Cardboard Junk mail and envelopes (remove plastic wrapper from junk mail and put it into your container separately) Carrier bags Catalogues Phone directories Please note that we do not accept shredded paper for recycling.

Hello from us!
We would like to introduce you to our new event idea. The Green Vibes Festivals! The purpose of these events is to bring together a collaboration of traders, businesses and local artists to showcase how you can live a more ethical, and sustainable way of life with the added bonus of looking after your own well being. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about these topics and how to achieve-ably adopt them into everyday living.
Ethical Living... - We shall be looking for traders that sell ethical goods and have strong ideologies within their work. We feel it's important and want to share with others, how to consider the ethics behind the products that they are purchasing, and that they are aware of the processes involved of their purchases. Traders selling clothing will be offered the opportunity to take part in our fashion shows.
Sustainable Living - We shall be looking for traders that have values, awareness of sustainability and ideas as to how their product or services can benefit the environment. Again making attendee's more aware as to how they can live a more sustainable way of life. We feel this is something that we call need to be thinking about, for us and the future generations. We would like to hold a clothes swap at the event, which is always a fun way to recycle and find a new wardrobe.
Self Growth and Well-being - I would like to have a variety of individuals/groups that promote self care and well-being, this would be in the form of mediation sessions, yoga workshops, mindfulness and local organisations.
We shall also be searching for local food sellers that focus on healthy eating locally produced good quality foods.
Please do get in touch if this is of interest to you. We are most excited about this festival idea.
