went along today for the first time. we emailed ahead as i use a wheelchair. i was advised in advance it would be difficult. i am lucky i can get up and walk for short periods so i got the full experience. and what an experience it was. personally i think schools should do trips for A level students. they could learn more here in a day than 2 years in class. the variety is astounding. coming away has left me very reflective. we also took my 18yr old son and 15 yr old daughter who were both totally in awe. we will be going back for more than one more visit as there is just so much to digest.
Went here yesterday and what can I say WHAT A PLACE!! You need a strong stomach for the reality of our world but it definitely opened my eyes to a few things. We was there for 3hours and definitely needed longer. We will be returning.
We are regular visiters to this amazing place and every time we go theres new things to look at. Its so interesting. Looking forward to our next visit in september.
Top notch. A lot of exhibits (maybe too many but that's just my opinion) that are very thought-provoking, essential if you're visiting the Forest

My partner and I visited today after seeing the museum on the new Dark Tourist documentary. It was fascinating and extremely intriguing. I would love to go again to read more of the thousands upon thousands of newspaper clippings. Organised chaos comes to mind but we loved the three and a half hours we spent there. We look forward to bringing along family and friends next time to share the madness. Keep up the good work! We can’t wait to see what other artefacts will be added to the collection in the future.
Littledean Jail - The best kept secret in Gloucester.
Had an amazing afternoon visiting the Jail...there’s so much to see, so make sure you set aside a few hours! Well worth a visit!
Great place run by a great bloke. If you are looking for a day out with a difference this is the place to go!

Great little museum with a vast array of wierd, unusual and macabre items. Would take a week to go through it all.
Fab place: intriguing, interesting, odd, weird and wonderful - Don't bring under 12's, you may not find it appropriate, but then again, this is warned against at nearly every gate and door, you do so at your own risk.
If you want to have fun, be grossed out but educated at the same time, this is the place for you. Endless halls of wonders and musements. Wonderful, passionate owner and curator is always friendly. Thoroughly recommend a visit at least once in your lifetime.
Absolutely brilliant. Some very harrowing pictures but all part of history and the world we live in today. Love the whole history of the place. Well worth the visit.

Very interesting place...spent most of the day there. Only one problem no cafe. But we popped to the local pub and had a drink...so not so bad😂
Not for the faint hearted but intriguing and very different from most museums. Not for children but there are warnings so on your own head be it if you take your children in. Fascinating stuff but also some gory and stomach churning stuff. The private collection of one man. Amazing, some of the stuff he has acquired.
Got bored with hundreds of frames of newspaper cuttings of Z-list celebrities being naughty - so started taking photos of apostrocities - but there were far too many of them too!
