We offer a first class, full, training or competition livery service aimed at owners who want a dedicated professional approach to their horses well-being and development. Every horse is treated as an individual and high standards of care and attention are guaranteed.
Dannie lives on site and supervise the care and training of all the horses, from breaking and schooling of youngsters through to the continual improvement of established competition horses.
The yard is located within the grounds of Somerley House, which provides wonderful, safe and varied hacking through the picturesque parkland. We have an 22x60 metre all weather school and excellent all year turnout.
Whether you want wonderful hacking or to compete at any level we can offer the service you require.

Where to start... a week you dream of! Our team has had such an incredible week up at the Winter Championships and I think it is still sinking in. There are so many people who have contributed in this success.
Knoxxs Figaro really proved what a special horse he is to become Advanced Medium Gold Champion on Saturday with 73.46% and then go on to become Advanced Medium Gold Freestyle Champion on Sunday with 76.06%. I am so proud of how he has grown in confidence over the winter... and was able to produce our best ever tests. A really special couple of days for his owners Lisa and David who have been on a great journey with him. Thank you. A big thank you to Nicky Barrett who has spent a lot of time in the arena with me and Fig training us, sharing her knowledge and developing our partnership together. Thank you to Elizabeth Killick who takes great care of Fig daily and always has him looking fantastic and finally Clare Deithrick for the hours of hard work you have put into creating the fantastic music for him - I had the best time riding to it!
Headmore Figaro performed our best ever test together this weekend to become Elementary Freestyle Gold Champion on a huge score of 78.78% and the highest of the championships. He really gave his all in the arena so I couldn’t be more thrilled - I have really enjoyed training him from day 1 to now. This result was especially amazing for his Owner and Breeder Sarah Oppenheimer who also bred Headmore Dionysis (2nd) and Headmore Bella Ruby (3rd) with Alice Oppenheimer Dressage. A first time for any breeder to score a 1-2-3 at a championship on homebred horses. What an achievement! Thank you Sara Green for mine and Alice’s music we couldn’t have done it without you.
Lastly Nicky Callam’s super horse High Hoes Florizel really stepped up a gear at the championships to score 71.5% and finish 5th in the Elementary Gold Freestyle Championship. A great result for Nicky who puts so much into her horses. We were all really proud of Zel. Thank you Paul Fielder for all of the training with him I have learnt a huge amount and I really appreciate the time you have put into us. Thanks Penny Morgan for letting us borrow your fantastic music which really suited him! Also a big thank you to Alex Cam who has been a big part in Zel’s success taking the best care of him and all of my horses at home on a daily basis as well as the team at Bow Lake Equestrian
