Would like to thank David for making the evening so special. Fantastic food and great company, would highly recommend Sargies to anyone.

What an amazing team! We hired Dave for private dining on the weekend of the 11th may for my husbands and my 50th birthdays. Communication prior to the event was really quick and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. They arrived at our holiday cottage with everything they needed. The food and service was outstanding. They catered for ten of us, and the quality of food and presentation was far better than a lot of restaurants we have been to. Would highly recommend to anyone and we will certainly be using you again when we are back down that way. Thank you for making our day so special. Claire and Gray.

What an amazing chef and catering team! the best, yes the very best we have ever had the privilege of catering for us. The sea bass was so yummy! the meringues - oh my goodness I could have eaten the lot if I had a stomach big enough :-)



David and his wife and team were so very supportive, nothing was too much trouble and they went way beyond their remit to make us feel happy and make our evening a success. Thank you so very very much David and your team we will never forget what you did for us and how much you supported us :-) x

We hired Dave to come and cook for 16 of us on a hen weekend, he is a very brave man and an excellent chef. Very impressed with the service from him and his waitress Claire, they left the kitchen cleaner than we did!

We celebrated a 50th birthday this weekend and used Sargies Private Chef. It was superb the best meal we have had in a long time. Service was great and nothing was too much trouble. It was so easy we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

We booked Sargies Chef Service for a corporate 2 day trip. There are quite a few reasons to recommend the service;



- Great menu recommendations, which we didn’t need to change at all

- Fairly priced

- Delicious food

- incredible organisation; Dave just gets on with the job with zero fuss and had food for 18 ready within an hour and cleared up within another 15mins



Overall a completely zero stress experience and the food really exceeded expectations

The 70th celebration was for my husband Ian. We hired a beautiful house in Dartmouth, having 3 grandchildren 6 years and under, dining out wasn't an option! Sargies (Dave) came highly recommend and didn't disappoint!! A wonderful meal prepared by Dave, served by a lovely lady (sorry I can't remember her name) high end restaurant standard in a very relaxed environment. Cleared away, washed up and left the kitchen as they found it. What more could we ask for. Thoroughly recommend.........you will not be disappointed.

Thank you Dave and team for the wonderful food and service at our recent celebration. Food was superb and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Great to be able to rely on everything being looked after so we could enjoy the evening. Will certainly be back when we have another gathering!

Super scrummy food!! Raspberry merengue is to die for!

Sargies delivered a wonderful dining experience for Mum's surprise 70th birthday celebrations. From the outset, Dave communicated promptly and was able to flex the menu choices to suit our requests. On the day his team of Mike and Fiona arrived at the (remote) holiday cottage promptly and immediately got to work in the kitchen in a friendly but businesslike manner; they were very kind with Mum who pottered in unaware of what was going on and who was totally overwhelmed with the concept of having a private chef service! After a 5 minute call, dinner was served bang on time, beautifully presented and flavoursome. Mike introduced each course and despite the dining table being in the kitchen with them, everything was very calm and professional and we barely noticed the preparations happening around us. Our dinner was great value for money, delivered professionally and in our own relaxing environment: we were absolutely 100% satisfied with the service Dave and his team delivered and have already recommended to friends.

I just cannot praise this man enough. We went to Cornwall for a week for my husband's 50th birthday and we booked Sargies Chef Service to cook our evening meal for the week. The meals Dave cooked for us were to die for every evening. The Service he provides is second to none. Dave even organised a VW van birthday cake for my husband, which he sourced from a local lady that bakes beautiful cakes. Dave was totally organised and communicated well about our menu because of allergies etc. Dave came, cooked, served, cleaned up after himself and went. Dave was so professional and an absolute delight to have in our company. Seriously if you want excellent food and service, Sargies Chef Service is DEFINITELY the company to choose. We will be definitely using him again. Thank you Dave for making our holiday complete.

From the very start Dave was very welcoming, it was the first time we had tried a private chef and wasn’t sure what to expect but we were instantly put at ease and can not recommend highly enough! The food was incredible and all the ingredients tasted fresh.

Excellent 3 course meal for 80 people. Everybody loved it, delicious options for people with allergies.Wonderful team who made it all seem very effortless, kitchen left immaculately. We would thoroughly recommend Sargies, from the very beginning at the planning stage Dave was brilliant!

Dave provided us with a wonderful meal to celebrate two family birthdays - everything was fantastic, from the preparations in advance, to the fabulous food, lovely company, and even the washing up afterwards! Everyone had a great time - would definitely recommend!

Dave cooked the most wonderful meal for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary last Sunday. We celebrated as a family in the most beautiful holiday farmhouse in Cubert and Dave's food was amazing. Lovely friendly customer service and stunning food. Thanks for making our day so special. Highly recommend!

Amazing service - I was at the wedding where the venue got cancelled at the last minute. Sargies were fantastic. Pulled out all the stops to make the event a complete success. With great style and smiles. The food was delicious but what they did was above and beyond what you would expect. Well done to you all.
