It was great to have Age UK Exeter over for a visit the other day and hearing about the fantastic work they do!

We were really excited to have the Austin 7 car Club at DDC this morning for the start of their Grand Wessex Tour!

Devon Disability Collective are delighted to now be producing water filter bags for Browns Bushcraft.
Browns Bushcraft design innovative survival products for wild camping. A notable product for them is the highly effective canvas water filter bag that removes sediment from water prior to disinfection, designed to be easy to use and carry, compact, lightweight and durable. The product is endorsed by SAS survival legend John “Lofty” Wiseman.
The Brown filter bag was develop...ed back in 2011 when it was becoming increasingly more difficult to source the original army surplus mill bank bags. After nearly three years of trials and testing many different types of canvas Rupert Brown decided to trace the original manufacturer of the military canvas used in the Millbank bags.
The specialist canvas is woven and dyed as a special order. This now ensures a plentiful supply of high quality, known origin filter bags.
Rupert Brown (pictured), Browns Bushcraft CEO said; “we are absolutely delighted to work with DDC with this product, the quality of their workmanship is second to none”, “it certainly adds to the story of the product having an ethical UK based manufacturer onboard”.

Challasis, a recently refurbished Nicholson 26 sailing yacht going out for its first sail in Torbay, with re-upholstery by DDC - looking better than it was new! Fabric used is stain resistant, anti-microbial and waterproof coating with 3 inches of standard and 1 inch of memory foam giving a more luxurious nights sleep on the sea!
