A mixed start to 2018 including sports for schools, decorating, outdoor education and farm work. Now on my first DofE bronze practice expedition. Spring is here!

What a fantastic year it has been in the outdoor freelance world, working with and for some fantastic people. But now it's time to finally get on with the winter project.

Assessor's badge has now arrived. Registered for all levels in walking, cycling and canoe expeditions.

Final DofE expedition of the season. Silver assessment on the South Downs. Weather will definitely make it an exciting one.

After a few days off spending time at home with the family, its now off to the Peak District for a Gold DofE assessment. Photos and updates to follow.

Feedback from a parent from last weeks Warrior Camp;
I just want to say a huge, massive, wonderful thank you to Maureen and the Warrior Camp team. Oliver has had the most amazing week. He did the camp last year and this year was even better. He was a bit nervous last year and I am not sure I can say he “loved" every minute of it then…..but this year, aged 10, was a totally different story. It just proves that he is growing in confidence with the experiences you are giving him... and that it is worth every penny. He is already talking about next year, and the year after that, and how its going to be great being a “returner” over the years with all of the new friends he has made. How lucky we are to live in Petersfield and be so close to you, this is the sort of stuff people travel for miles to find. Bear Grylls has got nothing on Nozzer and Keith. See you in a few weeks for Warrior 2.

Great week at Tile Barn Outdoor Centre. I had the privilege of delivering the 1st abseiling sessions on the centres new facilities. It made it more special as the 1st group was The Cowplain School. #exstudent #volunteer #exemployee
