Thank you to our team of volunteers from Nationwide Building Society who came over this week to transform Tim's home. Tim moved into his new home last October, and now he has finally put his new stamp on it. We think his choice of colour was perfect for his bathroom.
Join us on 14 September for our annual Rugby Lunch in Hoburne Holiday Park Christchurch and hear from rugby stars Paul Rendell, Jeff Probyn and David Duckham MBE.
A big thank you to Dixon Stewart LLP and Quantuma for sponsoring this event.
A huge thank you to Churchill Foundation who came in for a tour of one of our services yesterday and gave us a cheque for an incredible £1,000!
Don't forget that every Wednesday our day centre for adults hosts a fabulous community café at The Church Of The Good Shepherd <>< on Herbert Avenue.
Head down tomorrow between 11.20am - 2.30pm for lots of sweet and savoury goodies!
Recently some of the children we support painted some rocks and hid them around Bournemouth taking part in the new craze "rock hunting".
One of the rocks was found and is now on it's way to Bristol!
Stu is training hard as he's taking part in RideLondon raising money for Diverse Abilities.
He sent us a message after a recent training session: "Just sixteen sleeps to go until the final sleepless night before Ride London - and less than that until the bike goes on top of the car...
Trying to stick to my vague training plan has been interesting with other commitments and in the recent heat. Last Sunday, under the baking sun, I needed to do a big day and survived an out and... back from Parkstone to Portland: 82 miles in the bag. Today, only time to squeeze in 20 miles of laps around the relatively peaceful roads of Branksome Park and Canford Cliffs. Sunday will be another big one.
Overall prep seems good. Hotel booked. Spare tubes and bigger saddle bag invested. Food and drink practiced... What could go wrong..."
Amazing commitment from a top fundraiser, you can sponsor Stu here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/st uart-bickel1

Our auditors Saffery Champness, presented us with a cheque this week as a result of their successful raft race at Sandbanks, a big thank you from us for organising this fundraising event!
We took the opportunity to show them around our adult centre and children's respite home so they can see firsthand how their support will help.
One of our fab fundraisers Stu will be taking part in the infamous RideLondon event at the end of the month! Stu has supported us in lots of different ways but this one he says is his biggest challenge yet.
