Calling all #Dorchester and West Dorset peeps! The Fox and Hounds Inn in Cattistock has just been in touch to say they are TRIALLING Moving Mountains Burgers on their menu 🍔🙌😋
They're currently offering TWO MEALS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE (£11.95) Each burger is served in a bun with guacamole, tomato salsa, tomato, lettuce, red onion, plant mayo and a side of fries.

Chocolate cake and a soya flat white at the gorgeous new and surprisingly massive The Urban Garden in Bournemouth Gardens 😋
The menu, like other Urban Guild venues has lots of vegan options including pulled oat 'meatballs' on ciabatta🥖, plantpowered nachos (black bean hummus, vegan cheese, salsa & guacamole)🧀, and sesame tempura bok choi🌿
I adored the huge sunny deck outside and the way it was split into regular tables as well as large booth type spaces for meeting with frie...nds. The inside is beautiful too with a great long bar - look out for the comfy spot at the back with the sofas!
The only slight downers seem to be stair only access - not good for buggies or anyone with accessibility issues, and no vegan desserts listed - I asked hopefully if there was cake and was lucky, so do ask too! The chef is on the case with another option. They're also in the process of doing a menu reprint that highlights the 50p extra charge for alternative milks.

#Miiko on Salterns Road is all about nourishing tasty #wholefoods and so they've decided to make all their food not only #vegan, but also #glutenfree! 🌱💛
The owner Lana told me that they're determined not to compromise on taste and, having put the cafe to the test by indulging in a scrumptious mixed salad power bowl, freshly squeezed watermelon, lime & basil juice and a dreamy french toast style banana b...read topped with vanilla coconut cream and nut butter, I can confirm they totally live up to their flavour commitments 🤤👍
You will also find smoothie bowls, a wealth of hot and cold drinks, toast covered with delicious sounding toppings, and other yumminess on their menu.
This cafe is a lovely addition to the local vegan scene and offers something different again to the others out there. Definitely well worth a visit in my book, and the slight pain of finding a parking spot around there 😉 . . FULL DISCLOSURE: The owners didn't know I was coming, nor offer me anything on the house or any other benefit. My comments are purely based on the delicious food and lovely vibes in there 💕
