For the ladies who stayed in the yurt - Photo evidence of the thunder and lightning storm for your husbands/partners who don't believe you!!

Still no baby lambs yet - but the first one is to be called Frank, even if its a girl, by request from the ladies who stayed in the yurt last weekend.

We have stayed at this site five times (including one when the weather was horrendous!) and I can honestly say it has been fabulous. Our family have so many happy memories and I sincerely thank Les and Sharon for helping us make them. Our children are nearing teenage years now and we thought that they wouldn’t want to go camping but they have told us that they want to carry on coming to this site which is a testament to how good it is! I can 100 percent recommend it 😊👍

We have just got back from a week staying in the yurt, we had a great time. The owners are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The yurt was great and had everything you would need, added bonus of having the summer house with all kitchen equipment you would need, the welcome package was a lovely touch! Lovely having your own bathroom. Site very clean

Just come back from a lovely long girls weekend staying here. The campsite is lovely and quiet but still near enough to the local village to be able to wander down there. Les and Sharon were so friendly and helpful, the perfect hosts. The yurt is amazing!!! It was like a home from home, furnished and decorated with everything we could possibly need throughout our stay and surprisingly very spacious. Honestly cannot fault anything and can't wait to return next year.

Had a lovely stay here 28th may til 3rd June. Very basic (EXACTLY what we want) clean toilets, hot showers, friendly owners and good etiquette camping no parties, shouting at night etc. About half hour drive to Bude. Lovely cycking/walking granite trail nearby and if you're fairly fit and able visit Lydford Gorge... WOW. Will be returning. Thanks for having us!

No communication at all turned up to find a waterlogged site which was not even fit for cattle.owners did not even bother to phone to warn us even though we paid the deposit a year in advance. First night we was put on the field we had to change the kids 6 times. The second night we was allowed to go on the hard standing which worked out well until the yurt lost power so they removed our guide ropes without telling us so the next day with the wind and rain the awning was history had to sleep in my mates tent. This site has really gone down hill since last year and you would be best to avoid at all costs. As for the equipment if it gets damaged Sharon the owner will say oh well it's old not our fault.
