DYNAMIX YOUTH CLUB is on the lookout for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers to join our well-established Saturday morning team this coming autumn.
So whether you’re wanting to gain valuable experience to add to a CV, or you simply want to share your skills and experience with us, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
Dynamix is a specialist youth club which focuses on helping young people with a variety of disabilities and/or additional needs to take part and enjoy a fun ...and stimulating youth club experience while receiving the support and structure needed. Members come to us from right across the East Riding and our staff and volunteers are vital to making sure they all have a great time.
Successful candidates must…
• Be over 16 years of age and be free to attend most Saturday morning sessions 9am-12 during term time.
• Be ready and willing to assist and participate in a variety of club activities such as games, baking, crafts, cooking, sport, trips and refreshments, as well as being creative and motivated.
• Be able to engage with members in chit chat and/or longer more meaningful discussions.
Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check at enhanced level & will be required to attain essential safeguarding training, with support, within the initial supervised probationary period, and two references will be required at interview stage.

We’ve got that Friday feeling here at Dynamix HQ and we can’t wait to see everyone. Things are a little different this week with a small change to our location but we promise we’re doing everything to make it as great as ever. So, this week in North Building we’ve breakfast club, PS2, Games, Crafts, Lego, Jigsaws and of course a bit of sport, or our members can simply find space to chill out and catch up with friends, the choice is yours.
Next week will be our last session until September and we'll be celebrating the end of yet another cracking year.

This weekend we wind up our Coin Collection Challenge 2019, and can we just say a massive thank you to everyone that’s donated so far. We launched this fundraiser back in April, we've had some jars in already & hopefully we’ve a few more to come this week too, with every penny donated really making a big difference. Please feel free to keep on collecting for us, but for now thank you again to everyone who’s given this fundraiser a go, we really do appreciate your support 😊

We had a super morning today wandering through Driffield before enjoying a very tasty breakfast a Bell Mills Garden Centre Café. Huge thanks to Cheri & the team at Bell Mills for making us all feel so very welcome, and to the Dynamix team and members too for as always being their super-selves :-)

At Dynamix Youth Club today we continue our Alien Invasion theme, with Monster Door Hangers and Alien Spaceships in Club Craft, and space themed BIG ART to personalise our room.
There’ll also be the Wii, Games, Air Hockey, Pool, Sport and Breakfast Club, or members can simply find space to chill out and catch up with friends.

Dynamix Youth Club is back tomorrow at 9am, and this weekend we’ve an Alien Invasion theme, with Pebble and Shaving Foam Aliens in Club Craft, and a space themed BIG ART to personalise our space.
There’ll be Playstation, Games, Air Hockey, Pool, Sport and Breakfast Club, or members can simply find space to chill out and catch up with friends.

What a super morning we had at Driffield Health Hub on Saturday, I think the water was definitely a good idea by the sounds of it with both staff and members giving it 110%. Massive thanks to everyone at The Hub for putting together a fabulous activity plan and making us all feel so very welcome. Right well we’re back at Driffield School this weekend and we've still loads to come this term so we look forward to seeing everyone again soon :-)

If you haven’t started yet, or are new to this challenge and would like to give it a go, don’t worry there’s still plenty of time to get involved. Just grab yourselves a nice clean jam jar, and every time you’ve a few spare coppers pop them in to donate to... Dynamix, once you’re done collecting, however much there is, simply pop it into youth club if you’re a member, or if not and you’re local just get in touch with us and we’d happily come and collect it. As many of you know Dynamix is a local, and totally independent charity which aims to improve social opportunities for young people with a variety of disabilities right across the East Riding, and we’re based right here in Driffield. At Dynamix tomorrow our Back to the Future theme has a fab junk modelling team challenge and the best time machine creation wins. We’ve straw rockets in club craft, and there’ll be Playstation, Games, Air Hockey, Pool, Sport, Breakfast Club and space to chill out and catch up with friends.
Next Saturday, June 8th, Dynamix will be closed, then June 15th we’re on our next trip so our next regular Dynamix session at Driffield School will be on Saturday 22nd June.

Barrie Kitching visited Dynamix Youth Club this week to present us with a cheque for an incredible £3,298.50.
If it wasn’t for amazing people like Barrie and his generous supporters, Dynamix wouldn’t exist, so thank you all for helping to raise the funds we need to make a difference in the lives of so many young people.

Today at Dynamix we have CD case mazes, String Spinners and Cassette mobile phone stands, and Barrie Kitching will be popping by to present us with a cheque following his London Marathon success.

Tomorrow at Dynamix is all Back to the Future. We’ll be creating a time capsule and making bygone games in club craft. New this week will be Uno stacks, our A-maze ball and Stickle Bricks. We’ll also have regular favourites, like Breakfast Club, Sport, Jigsaws, Uno, Lego, Speed Cups and Pool.

Tomorrow at Dynamix Youth Club our Crafts include sun catchers and spinning ladybirds. We’re in the gym for sport, and we’ve a super treat planned for Breakfast Club. Looking forward to throwing our doors open at 9am.

Great news... Dynamix Youth Club will reopen its doors this Saturday at 9am, and we can't wait to see everyone. This term we've tons of exciting new activities, and old favourites too, including pool, gaming, sport, crafts, breakfast club, and chilling out and catching up with friends. Lots of choices and lots of good times ahead...
