Eastleigh Museum Description

Discover Eastleigh’s past, and meet Mr and Mrs Brown a local locomotive engine driver and his wife. There is always something new to see with a regularly changing programme of special exhibitions, workshops, talks and events, plus Family Friendly activities, cafe, and gifts.

DIRECTIONS AND ACCESS

Car

Take J13 of the M3, or J5 of the M27. Follow signs for Town Centre, parking is available in several surface car parks or in the Swan Shopping Centre. Satnav or route planning, the postcode is SO50 5LF.
Train

The Museum is within walking distance of Eastleigh train station. Follow signs for the Shopping Centre and the Bus Station, at the Bus Station follow signs for the Point. At the statue of the Railway Man, turn left into High Street. The Museum is half way down High Street on the right hand side.
Bike

Eastleigh town centre has extensive cycle parking along Market Street, Factory Road and Wells Place.
Bus

Eastleigh bus station is a five minute walk away, follow signs for the Point. At the statue of the Railway Man, turn left into High Street. The Museum is half way down High Street on the right hand side.
On foot

Once in the town centre, the Museum is in High Street, virtually opposite ‘Iceland’.
