What’s a Basement Package? A Basement package, also known as a Home Protection Package, is a complete system designed to be installed in basements and/or critical areas of the house that require protection against water leaks. The easy to install system uses a 3 metre sensor tape, generally positioned against the skirting or under areas where a leak would cause critical damage. Should water touch the tape at any point, an alarm will trigger, switching a relay connected to a valve that will switch the water off immediately when a leak occurs.

What’s a Tea Point? These are communal areas of an office, typically found on 1st floors or higher – sometimes referred to as kitchenettes/coffee stations. These areas will typically have a sink with hot and cold taps, dishwasher, kettle & microwave. Our Tea Point Package is designed to protect the water pipes that feed the taps and dishwasher along with the waste pipes that run from the sink plug and dishwasher drain. Should a pipe start to leak and goes unnoticed, the escap...e of water will eventually affect the floor below and possibly cause damage and disruption to those working there. By having a Tea Point Package installed, should a leak occur, the water will be switched off to the immediate area via a valve and an audio/visual alarm will be triggered. Fitting a Tea Point Package is all about prevention and limiting damage.
