FAREHAM OPEN DETAILS March 2020. Entry form now available at the desk in the club or via the Facebook group or text Craig( organiser)directly on 07927376805. Entry is £10 paid before 1st of March. All entry fee's go 100% in to the prize fund.
... The tournament is to give all players a chance to play and improve there game especially weaker player who would normally not play due to there standard against stronger players.
Handicaps will be given by Craig. League players will keep their league handicaps Which will be incorporated into my system.
All ages welcome we had last year from ages 7- 80's. Match fee's are shared with the club 50% club 25% players each. Semi and final are f.o.c. on the Star tables with 1g ball's.
The style will be knock out with the losers in round 1 given a separate tournament to compete in.
I will take name's up until the 1st of March and Start the tournament from 7th until conclusion. Numbers will determine the finish date.
Matches are arranged with my help and a group chat which I will add so we can contact each other. Please try to be available as much as possible to play. I'll have a two weekend deadline per match so we don't spend too long completing the tournament. In certain Special circumstances I'll extend but catch up will be required the following week. Round 1 main tournament will be 3 frames Round 1 eliminated tournament will be 2 frames.

Well Done to William and Jack today for coming in to the Junior coaching club.We had a great practise looking forward to the next lesson with these two very talented kids. P.s. please share and hopefully we get more juniors in playing the game. Next practise is next Sunday at 16:30 -18:00.

We would like to get more young people interested in Snooker by starting an after school club from 4:30pm to 6:30pm every Monday. These sessions will be run by World Snooker level 2 coach Tim Dunkley.
... If you are interested, please message us with your name and telephone number. We will be in touch if we have enough players interested to get the club started! It will be £4 per session.
You will also have the opportunity to enter local tournaments and play against other juniors.
Complete beginners are welcome.

So after another very successful evening on Friday, we have raised just over £4500 through ticket sales, donations and a raffle. Which Serena is again going to round up to £5000!!! 💰. Amazing!
All money is going towards Breast Cancer Care and The Rockey Appeal (Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust).
Thankyou everyone for helping us raise so much, especially Mickey Mo who donated a whopping £500 😀!
