RLSS UK’s Rookie Lifeguard programme gives your child the skills they need to be confident in the pool or the sea. Come and try it our for FREE this September.
Rookie Lifeguard is aimed at children aged 8-12 Years. The scheme has a Bronze, Silver and Gold award, with 3 stages in each. The course starts off at an ability level suitable for brand-new swimmers, and progresses to the level where our Rookie Lifeguards perform impressive lifesaving tows.

We are running a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification this summer! Once qualified, you can work immediately, and they also include a Defib Qualification. Cost per person is £250, and is subsidised if you are looking for full time work.
Candidates must be 16 years old to complete their assessment.

We recently held a 2 year old birthday party at Farnham Leisure Centre... they were totally faultless. So helpful, so willing to go above & beyond expectations. They made one little 2 year old very very happy indeed. Thank you all! Would highly recommend and will certainly return.

Such a great job done for our son's 9th birthday, with a mixed-ability group of guests, with the added twist of it being new year's eve. Keyed it just right for the bouncy castle run-about half of the party, which all the children enjoyed. The activity room for the tea was smart, tidy and spacious, with a decent sound system and lights – by far the best party room we've ever used.



We're also semi-regular visitors for swimming, and have always found the staff friendly and helpful. We probably choose quieter times to come, but have never experienced any problems. The coffee's pretty good too!

Lovely atmosphere with personal trainers & staff around to help. I had an amazing swim last week followed by a sauna. The gym facilities are restricted but stilll accommodate members needs. If I had any issue with equipment or what exercise to focus on their is always a PT on hand to help. Coffee is amazing. My kids absolutely love the crèche too & have a lovely bond with Matt and Julie.

I only use the pool but it's great , nice and quite cannot fault it.

I asked for a membership to join the gym and i was really pleased with the service, staff were very helpful and seem to have a lot of knowledge. Highly recommend joining this leisure centre.

Have tried all the other local gyms and this is the best by far. Reception staff are so friendly and helpful, gym has excellent facilities and the group fitness classes are fantastic, especially Di's and Paul's. Can't recommend highly enough.

Farnham sports centre is a great place to come and keep fit.

Since coming to the gym I have come along way in my life and have changed it for the better but to be honest I couldn't have done it without 3 fabulous ladies and I really appreciate your help.

You have helped me to lose a massive amount of weight and I cant thank you enough.

You make me see how far I can push myself and make me do my absolute best in all your classes and I really do appreciate it.

I'm still on my journey to loose weight but u 3 have helped me with the hardest part I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Your classes are what keeps me going on my journey.

It hasn't been easy & some days are harder then others but u 3 have always been there to cheer me up and tell me what a great job i am doing and I cant thank you enough xxx

Did the Monday morning body pump class today and it was excellent! The instructor was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I would definitely recommend it! A great work out!

Came here with my whole family swimming. The kids love it. Great pool, friendly staff, clean. Would highly recommend.

By far my fav place , always feel welcome when I walk in.. .. all the personal trainers are very friendly ..clean toilets and changing areas.. can't wait for all the new equipment coming soon.. will make it even better .. always helpful when booking classes .. and my son Reggie LOVES the crèche .. best gym �

Best leisure centre in Farnham. Reception staff are helpful friendly and remember you by name. Gym staff are experienced and supporting. The class instructors are the best around, motivate and push each of us to our own limits. The backroom guys are very helpful both on a one to one basis and when working with the various clubs who's home is Farnham Leisure Centre. The leisure centre is great value for money and you can cultivate great friendships from those other members that use this great facility.

Enjoyed my visit...great facilities and choice of exercise classes, friendly, helpful staff! Fabulous choice of food and drink. Centre was impressively clean and tidy

Have picked up a foot fungus in the women's showers and again around the pool. Staff never return calls and are unhelpful

I've tried the family splash time a couple of times now but won't bother again. The changing rooms are always freezing, showers are never hot and providing a couple of floats and a watering can it just boring!

Not one to normally complain but I'm not happy! Swimming lessons for children - what a joke. My daughter went from swimming half a length in stage 5 to 8plus lengths in one go in stage 6 - just to much for her. I wrote to the swimming manager who confirmed she should only be swimming one length and then having a break but this never happened . I've spoken to the swimming teacher but she is not interested. How can there be such a jump from one stage to the other? Thank you Farnham for putting one very happy 6 year old off swimming for life..
