Used to volunteer here many moons ago and it still has that lovely chilled, community, tightly knit vibe. Traditional hand made art and lots of freshly produced grub with a decent cafe-bar. It's nice to see how they have opened up a lovely shop selling local artist work. Supporting artists. If only I lived in Farnham. Great to come back and at their Saturday monthly market. Hope to be back soon.

Saw this group last night at Neston Town Hall.

To be honest my first thoughts were mmm was this worth the distance travelled?

Well the answer was an definite yes!

The music was very good. The story held my interest and the acting top notch.

We will be looking out for future plays by this group.

User

Saw Brave Folk acted by Farnham Maltings last night at Cuddington Village Hall. Quite simply brilliant! Best play I have seen for years. The cast of 5 actors were fantastic creating the feel and sounds of woodland and marshland. Loved the cups of tea and cookies at the start of the play to create the right atmosphere. I was 'there' caught up in the story. The musical sounds and accompaniments were so well done. Many thanks to them and Cuddington Village Hall for putting this on.

User

Saw "Brilliance" in Parracombe, North Devon - LOVED IT - priveliged to have such a great production in our village hall - a perfect match. Charming story with some fun music (very good, by the way) played by the actors .. and some fun nonsense along the way too - really good..I loved it being "in the round" too. I hope you come back here.. THANK YOU.

User

Lovely venue, visited for the first time in April. Very helpful staff on hand to help, good cafe/restaurant area and the food looked very tasty! Wish we had taken advantage of pre-show food :) very easy to park too, highly recommended

User

Great venue with easy parking. I've been to a craft fair and a concert at this venue, both were lovely! Bar serving in the concert, and tea room and little gift shop open in the daytime. I also noticed they have ballet and loads of events comi g up for the Christmas season! ÔøΩ Highly recommend!

User

Great local venue which offers many things to all ages and to cover all interests, from kids clubs to adult evenings of music and entertainment as well as craft fairs and garden shows! All in all a lovely local venue for Farnham!

User

First time at squires exhibit. Really liked that there was loads of space. Even though there were lots of people it never felt full. Loads of people could fit into the demo rooms.

Maybe signs or arrows showing you which way for what (a maps on the book ) would be helpful.

User

Excellent performance at Amble Parish Hall this evening (Sat 3rd March) to be enthralled and most superbly entertained by "Brave Folk"

A huge well done to cast and crew for a wonderful evenings theatre/story telling. Wonderfully acted, beautifully crafted set with simplicity in setting out in the round with seats/small tables for a cosy/intimate feel and loved the lighted canopy and candles. Husband really enjoyed the fennel & liquorice tea and "marshlander" biscuits. Fantastic atmosphere & left feeling very uplifted on a snowy night's ride home <3 Thank you!

User

Excellent Festival of cycling event, would benefit from more exhibitors but this will come with time.

More food stalls next time please. A whole day of cycling fun around town, going on late into the evening and I struggled to find food.

Hill climb, races and sportifs all very well organised and I look forward to next year being bigger and better. Hats off :)

As a farnham resident I consider myself lucky to have The Maltings for comedy, live streaming of dance ,theatre etc, and the fairs. They spent a lot of money on seating in the Great Hall and I’m not sure it is an improvement! My knees touch the seat in front and if you are sitting in a middle seat there is hardly any room to squeeze past others already seated. The seats themselves aren’t much more comfortable than the old ones. I’d Ben interested to hear the views of others members and audiences.

User

An amazing performance by Ruby Turner tonight. Her voice was as powerful and soulful as I remember it being 20+ years ago - and her band were awesome! üòÄ

User

This is a very nice venue for a range of activities. I attended the Yuletide Event on Wednesday evening 29 November 2017. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very helpful, although I thought that the prices for refreshments were rather steep. I particularly enjoyed the musical entertainment - both the ladies choir and the solo singer with the keyboard accompanist - definitely worth the price of an admission ticket!

User

Love the Maltings and have enjoyed shows there, and currently attend baby classes there with Busy Lizzy. Really lovely venue.

One thing I noticed today though was the bin in the disabled toilets/baby changing room was completely overflowing with dirty nappies and there was no soap in the dispenser. This in itself was not a big deal - these things happen. But when I told the gentleman on the front desk, he wouldn't look me in the eye and simply said "yes we know". I suggest if you already know, do something about it, as it is revolting!

User

First time visiting The Maltings. My Husband and I went yo see Fairport Convention, he is a big fan, but it was a first experience gor me.

Interior reception area could be more comfortable but it was adequate. The bar was not open upon our arrival but a staff member suggested The William Cobbett a few minutes walk away, lovely pub.

Bar was open on teturn and there was a variedcage group waiting for the concert. My husband was happy with his Hogs Back ale and I with juice. Fairport Convention were very good, I thoroughly enjoyed hearing them play. I am a huge fan of traditional Irish music.

All in all a pleasant evening with seats at the front row B 7&8. Good view.

User

Visited Farnham Maltings with friends to see G2. We were in the tiered part of the venue and have no complaints about the view or sound. Legroom could be better but the Maltings are no worse than the Royal Albert Hall when we were there last week !

Our first visit to the Maltings as we are not local. Friendly bar staff and free parking a bonus. Would love to have a venue this size and ambience in the High Wycombe area.

User

No where near enough seating for the amount of people at the quilt show ! None of the disabled lifts were in use ! Made the day incredibly hard üôÅ

User

I went to see G2 and had a seat in the front row, so there was plenty of leg room. The width of the seats were rather narrow, which was exacerbated by the fact that like most Genesis tribute bands, G2's audience are mostly middle-aged men.

The pre-gig meal was pub standard; but significantly cheaper. The choice was very limited; vegetarian option or chicken and mushroom stew with a pastry lid - it's not a pie!

That said, it was tasty and vegetables were cooked through without being boiled to death.

Farnham is quite a way from here; but if Simon offers to drive me there again,I'll happily go again.

User

No provision for recycling cans and plastic bottles in the cafe. This is 2018, surely everyone knows what damage all this stuff does if put into the earth and sea? I help run a cafe and we have no difficulty recycling these things.
