First Class Fitness was founded to help people feel better, move better, perform better, and be a better version of their current selves. Self-improvement is what they focus on!

FCF are always improving the services they provide to their clients and members, through continual professional development, and learning from the best of the best. Investing in themselves is something this team do not shy away from. FCF are dedicated to providing the most effective personal and group training system around.

The coaches are not ‘fitness freaks’, but are fitness enthusiasts, that have devoted their goals to helping others fulfil theirs! They are passionate about health & fitness, and stay at the cutting edge of this ever-changing industry. To give it to you straight, they are devoted to ensuring everyone under the FCF parachute receives the attention, care and support they require and deserve.

The FCF coaches are all highly qualified and academic, in that they all hold a Bachelor degree in either sports coaching, science or performance. This is evident in their First Class approach to everything they offer and provide.

Since establishment FCF has helped individuals to fulfil a wide range of goals, whether it be for aesthetic, health or performance purposes. When someone joins the FCF family, their goal becomes the coach’s goal, in that what is achieved is a collaborative effort where the coaches show and guide you down the right paths, and then you take the all important steps.

This is largely due to the fact that most used to be in better shape than they are now.
Relationships, alcohol, partying, marriage, kids, work, etc, all take there toll and eventually lead to a large increase in unwanted body fat. Especially around the mid region! The good old ‘beer gut’.
On our Men’s Group Training Programme you will train in a private facility with understanding and empathetic coaches, meaning that you won’t feel body conscious. You will train with men alike again ensuring you don’t feel out of place.
The training is periodised in that it won’t kill you in week 1, and will gradually progress meaning your body has time to adapt, and you won’t feel out your depth.
The programme will not only improve your training regime (if you have one at all...) but will also educate you on nutrition and lifestyle. The program includes a bespoke nutrition plan and recipe book, and you will be educated on all aspects of health and fitness during the 12 weeks.
We guarantee that by week 12 you will no longer be body conscious, in fact you will be ‘body-confident’!

Di wasn’t in bad shape when she started our Female Group Training Programme, however she was only completing cardiovascular exercise and didn’t know her way around the gym floor.
... These are the two main aspects our First Class Physiques Programme focuses on. ”This first photo is when I was at uni, and out of the routine of exercising, and the second and third photos are after about 9 months of physiques. There isn’t that much difference, but physiques has meant I have put on muscle, toned up and helped me achieve 14.9% body fat.
I’ve absolutely loved joining physiques, the only exercise I really did before was HIIT, and I was always scared of starting weights by myself because I know form is so important, and I didn’t want to get injured or look stupid in the gym, and I had no idea where to start! That’s why i love having a new programme written every three weeks, with pointers on how to do the exercise, and the muscles you are using, and most importantly the boys to always go through the session first and then help with your form throughout.
I now know my way round the gym really well, and know things I wouldn’t have ever been able to teach myself. I love getting stronger each week and being able to lift more than my body weight, and I love noticing the progression and want to keep getting stronger.
I have noticed a difference with my body and have definitely got leaner and more toned than I would have if I’d only continued doing cardio/HIIT, and definitely feel more confident in a bikini 👙

On the 24th of June our next Mens Group Training Programme starts.
... In short, this programme is the closest thing to 1-to-1 Personal Training, however its a fraction of the cost as you train in a group of roughly 10 men per session with 2 coaches on hand to guide you through every session.
The programme last 12 weeks, and all the sessions are resistance based, with minimal cardio and completed at our HQ.
The beauty of us having our own private gym, is that if you miss a session you can make it up in your own time. Something other Personal Trainers/Fitness Instructors cannot offer.
Most men wanting to drop body fat do not require large amounts of cardiovascular training, especially if they are generally active (this is where many go wrong), and if resistance training is completed at the right intensity, then the cardiovascular system will be worked anyway.
Heres whats included on the programme:

On Friday we announced that we will be running Group Personal Training Sessions at this years BeachFit event. Additionally we will be running Beach BootCamps.
... These sessions will be completed in the main arena, and will hold up to 40-50 people with 3-4 First Class Fitness Coaches.
Participants will use ropes, powerbags, kettlebells, dipping/chin-up bars, slam balls their bodyweight and more to complete an hours worth of resistance and cardiovascular work (including the warm-up and cool down), giving you a brilliant all-round metabolic blast!
The DJ will turn up the music for these sessions, and the atmosphere will be unreal!
Our FitCamp sessions which we run weekly in Weymouth, Dorchester and Portland usually cost £6 per session, however you can come to as many Beach Bootcamp sessions as you wish over the weekend which is all included in THE COST OF THE TICKET (£30)!

... We (First Class Fitness) are co-organising the event this year and will be running beach bootcamps, group personal training sessions, seminars and more.
The group personal training sessions, will be completed in our very own Beach Gym which we will be creating within the event area.
These sessions will consist of 2-3 coaches and 10-12 participants.
The sessions will be based around resistance/strength training (our expertise), and we will run both beginner and advanced sessions to suit everyone.

... She started in good shape already, and transforming someones body from good shape to even better shape is much harder than getting someone out of shape into good shape, because more advanced methods are required in relation to both training and nutrition.
We’ve had to consider and monitor macronutrients, whereas usually we can just monitor calories. Additionally, I’ve had to push her hard and make her train at a new level of intensity to bring about these adaptations.

“There are four months between these photos and although it may not look like a massive difference, the biggest transformation has come from me as a person. I am happier, healthier and more body confident.
I started PT with Marcus and of course I can’t not mention Kim and Lauren (the best training girls) back in October and I haven’t looked back since. Marcus is an outstanding PT, always pushing me beyond my limits and perfecting my technique during every rep and set.
I had previously competed female physiques but wanted to go to the next level. I need to mention on my first physiques session I couldn’t complete a Romanian Deadlift, not even with just the bar. Now I can complete 4 x 10 at 75KG.
As a PE teacher, I somewhat have to practice what I preach. But there always seems to be times I put the students first and my body second. However, PT has transformed me, shaped my body and when I started this process I weighed 63KG and now I’m 4.5KG lighter and leaner then I ever thought I would be.
This year I had a target to work too, that was a hen do to Marbella and I wanted to be looking on fine form. But now I’m back I’m still striving to keep my body in good shape.
I feel I’m in the best shape of my life and it goes hand in hand with living my best life.
