Fordingbridge Whippet , Lurcher & Dog Racing Club

First time meeting at the club for nearly 6 weeks, a really enjoyable morning, a couple of new visitors and they have said they would like to join the club. The track was in lovely condition.

The rain has come at just the right time , spot on for the dogs to have a run on the track.

” YAY “Club racing on Sunday ( 28th ). It will be good to be on the track, and all meeting up again, it’s been 6 weeks since we were all together. The dogs need the work now, and the weather is for a much, much cooler day. Please remember access to the car park is only available with the combination number.
If you think you are going to be delayed in getting there please call my mobile number and I will walk over to the gate and let you in.
Our Whippet Club will be the only one’s using the car park until the height barrier is installed .

Spoke to The groundsman, he will be putting the water bowser on the track now that we will be back racing. When we checked it a couple of weeks ago it is in great condition, just needs the watering now.
Also just to squash any rumours that are being passed around, there were travellers on the track 2 weeks ago, they were removed last week, but there was NOT any damage done to our track, nor was there any damage done to the club house or shower block, so this is contrary to what is being said. I just thought I would post the true facts. Thank you.
