My 2 friends and I had an amazing time for our Spa Day yesterday. The whole day was very relaxing and the staff are very professional and the massage and facial was brilliant. This is our 4th time at Forest Pines and we are already looking to book another one for a couple of months time. Definately recommend!!!

User

Enjoyed our Travelzoo Spa day at Forrest Pines upon arrival coffee and a Danish on the Terrace overlooking the golf course gorgeous sunshine. My wife then utilised the gym whilst I enjoyed doing some lengths in the swimming pool However the piece de resistance was my treatments Emily was fantastic back shoulder and head massage cannot recommend her enough. My wife also enjoyed her pedicure and facial with Pearl again a very good therapist

User

Very nice, only a couple of faults why I didn’t give it a 5 star, the lockers in the changing rooms are a nightmare it took us 15 minutes to try and get our stuff in them and then one of us couldn’t get it unlocked to get our stuff out, had to get a staff member from reception to come with a key, secondly the walk to the restaurant from the spa, had to walk through a conference room with guests in to get to the restaurant, wouldn’t of wanted to do this in your robe, we also just wanted a snack and a drink as we arrived at 10.30am and had afternoon tea booked in at 3pm and the only place was the main restaurant. All in all was a nice place, spa staff very nice, great service, relaxing surroundings, pool and facilities was nice, and afternoon tea was yummy. I would return.

User

Myself and my two daughters had a lovely time at the spa We were greeted by friendly staff at the reception followed by coffee and a danish. We then went to use all the pool facilities and a relax on the chair. Followed by a fabulous facial and back massage, so relaxing, all the staff are so friendly in there Before we left we treat ourselves to a really nice lunch, and again staff couldn’t of been nicer. I have been before and definitely be going back Thank you all xx

User

I had a very relaxing day on 20/02/18 on arrival I was greeted nicely by the spa reception and booked in, I chose to have the coffee and danish before I kicked off with my day. The bar staff were polite and helpful coffee and danish very nice. I then returned to reception in the Spa to collect my robe and then on into the locker room, no issues . Proceeds to the pool area enjoyed a nice 30 lengths swim followed by the steam room and jaccuzzi and a lay down on one of the loungers until my treatments at around 1200. My treatments were administered by a lovely lady called Paula who was Lovely the whole time of my treatments, facial and massage. My only complaint was I was a bit cold once into the treatment room and relaxation area. My Spa day was very relaxing and enjoyable and would certainly return to do it all again.

Me and my boyfriend have just got back from a spa break here for my birthday, we found the spa a bit disappointing... it's definitely more like a gym so I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're not interested in using the gym. My treatments were fab though, I had a facial and a nail file and polish and thoroughly enjoyed them. My nails look great! My boyfriend loved his massage. My food was disappointing, I had to send my steak back twice as it was extremely grissly both times but the restaurant manager reimbursed my food allowance money which was good. The cocktails were lovely though, I drank far too many

We had an amazing time despite being disappointed with the food and spa facilities, the staff were so friendly which made our stay special

Having visited Forest Pines a couple of times over the years, I booked the Valentine's offer as a treat for my husband & myself.

We booked treatments for 9am, got there in plenty of time to get changed & sit in the relax room.

The relax room was cold & the cushions all mishaped where people have sat over the years.

We were not collected until 9:04am.

Taken into a FREEZING room they had crammed 2 beauty beds into.

There was no consultation to how we would like our massages etc.

During the massage the therapist massaging my husband had a few issues with stomach noises (maybe she just ate breakfast!) & I could hear my therapist laughing. Also my therapists polka dot socks were quite amusing.

The massages we received were ok, but felt they put in minimal effort.

After the therapists left the room I went straight to my phone at 9:27am - so bare in mind when we were taken through & the time they left us to get changed (seems forever) it must have been 20min massage.

I work in this industry & seems simple standards are not met when your booking on an offer !

User

Food was great rather a far walk from the spa which is more like a leasure centre due to children vocally enjoying there swimming lessons and pearnts waiting on the loungers.

Treatment rooms were grubby looking and far to bright I had to ask if i could lay the bed down during my treatment it was not offered to me also I had to ask where I could get water from "also not offered" which is when i discovered a relaxation room which i was not shown and didn't know it existed.

The robes provided were rough to touch and rather scratchy on the skin which you do not expect from a 4* venue.

The steam room was out of order the jacuzzi and sauna were extremely small and my treatment although felt nice did not remove any dead skin and left my skin even dryer.

A rather disappointing visit .

Good afternoon,

I'm currently sat in your relaxation room on a spa day my friend had booked for my birthday.

We both booked the day off of work for this.

We booked this place after reading about it online, we enjoy trying different spas together.

This is honestly the worst one I've been to. I had to pay for the pleasure of using a robe?!!

The pool had children and toddlers splashing around in it .. this would have been fine had it not been advertised as a relaxing break. Neither me or my friend could get into the whirlpool, sauna or anything! As they were full of gym users. . So we've sat for hours in the relaxation room, bored waiting for our treatments. It would have been lovely to make use of the facilities. . I can't comment on the standard of them, as we have paid for something we are unable to use.

We purposely booked on a Tuesday morning thinking this wouldn't be busy.. but it turns out the gym members all had the same idea.. we were under the impression it was a spa . . That's why we booked a spa day! Not open to Joe public!

Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect to have the place to ourselves, but being completely unable to use anything! What a joke!!

Should not be advertised as a relaxing spa day when there are toddlers screaming in the pool.

How very disappointing. Such a waste of money and time!
