Yesterday my children arranged a party at Fort Stamford to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary, Thank you so much for making it a great day for us with outstanding help, lovely food and a great atmosphere, would recommend you anytime, Thank you

We have just held the celebration for our daughters christening here and also had our son's 4th birthday party earlier in the year in the Fun Fort. The venue was clean, freshly decorated, well equipped and the staff were very warm, friendly, caring and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended, especially with young guests who were freely able to make extensive use of the soft play facility. Thank you.

We had a party last week and the staff were amazing. Would love to thank Annette and Richard for all their hard work. Would recommended to anyone thinking about organising a party to come here. Thank you for making our evening so special.

We had a family get together at Fort Stamford on Sunday afternoon in the function room / conservatory. This was such an excellent venue and the food and staff were amazing. Thank you to Amy and the other young girl behind the bar who worked so hard to make our day special. Huge thanks to Royston for organising it all for us.

Plympton Hash House Harriers held their annual fund raiser Red Dress Run for Huntingtons Disease Fundraising. Fort Stamford did a grand job - and Richard wasn't bad. Thank you for your support X

My son celebrated his 6th birthday here today with a splosh and nosh party, he absolutely loved it! All the children had a great time and the staff were lovely, food was great to! Highly recommend

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her Sports Birthday Party. All the staff were excellent and made her feel really special.

Members of staff really friendly and welcoming. The gym facilities are always updating and the gym staff are happy to help. First went there through my personal trainer Emily who is also the gym manager, extremely friendly and always willing to help. The receptionist always give a warm welcome too.

Lovely family friendly club. My daughters had a fab time at the Christmas party - lovely touch that Santa sang songs with the children and called out their names when their presents were given out! Food and bar service was excellent too. Thank you! :)

I have visited this gym several times whilst visiting the area and I would definitely recommend it. The facilities are top class, the staff and members very friendly and helpful and the cafe serves good value refreshments. I look forward to coming back!

I have recently rejoined fort stamford after moving back to Plymouth. The whole place has such a friendly feel to it, Jane was fantastic in showing us around and sorting our membership nothing too much trouble. So far we have enjoyed some of the classes and met lovely people in the class and also teaching the class, Becky and Lisa are fantastic, enthusiastic instructors. We have enjoyed coffee and food from the restaurant and Kim in the gym has also been brilliant. We love coming and would recommend Fort Stamford to everyone �

I have been a member for at least twelve years and have always found all the staff to be helpful from the gym staff to the cleaners rules have to be made and everyone has to abide by these whether the pool is empty or full I would definitely recommend it to my friends

I attended an excellent Futurefit Level 2 Gym Instructor training course at Fort Stamford Health and Fitness club last week. The facilities were great, the food and cappuccinos more than hit the spot and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. If I lived closer I would join as a member in a heartbeat. Thank you!

I absolutely love Fort Stamford, I have tried other gyms and always come back here, it truly has something for everyone, and really good facilities. The staff are all extremely friendly and make you feel welcome, the gym instructors are really attentive and always make sure that you are well looked after whilst exercising. There is a good variety of classes, a nice swimming pool and spa facilities. A lovely bar offering a variety of food and drinks. It is an amazing all round fitness club for the whole family and makes exercising an enjoyable experience

Fort Stamford is a great health and fitness club. The moment you walk through the door you feel welcomed by the friendly staff. The facilities are top quality with 4 squash/ Racketball courts, a huge cardio and weights gym, decent size swimming pool with sauna,steam and jacuzzi. Toning Tables, Table Tennis, a Hairdressers salon, Treatment rooms including Physiotherapy, Sunbed, Soft Play Area, Children’s Parties, a Creche and Bar area with Conservatory. Why not give them a try.

Fort Stamford is a club where members are known by name and the staff enjoy interacting with them and adding to the social hub.



It is a place to go to improve your confidence, feel safe, welcomed and valued, lose weight, get fit , gain muscle and create new friends.



Whether you are wanting to go to the gym , play racket ball , go for a dip in the pool, relax in the steam room, chat in tone zone, shake it in zumba, play with your children in the fun Fort or tuck into the delicious cakes and dishes avaliable at the cafe....Fort Stamford is the place for you!

Fantastic venue for parties..Fitness facilities are great, the squash is by far one of the best clubs around for all levels with a great social element. Very relaxed family atmosphere made me feel right at home. ��

Second party I have had here and always think it is the great, but two things let us down this time. Some of the kids in the fun fort who were not part of my party, shoved my son over and punched and kicked a couple of party members. Then one of the families got lost coming for food. I don't know where I am going and rely on your staff to help. So one child missed food. But apart from this a fab time and my son enjoyed the party

-ve: parking can be an issue at busy times/kids swimming lessons take up a lot of pool time/changing rooms in need of modernisation
