About Forward Thinking: Child & Adolescent Clinical Psychologists

We are Clinical Psychologists who specialise in working with children, young people and their families.

Forward Thinking: Child & Adolescent Clinical Psychologists Description

We are a team of Clinical Psychologists who specialise in working with children, young people (0 - 18) and their families.

We offer a range of evidence-based assessments and interventions / therapies for children and young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health (e. g. anxiety, depression, OCD) or behavioural problems.

We can conduct many specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessments, for example assessments of cognitive /intellectual functioning and autism assessments.

We also offer specialist therapy for people of all ages who are suffering from symptoms associated with trauma.

We provide specialist training, consultation and supervision for professionals on a wide range of topics.

We hold enhanced DBS clearance (formerly known as a CRB check). We are Registered as Practitioner Psychologists with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered as Clinical Psychologists with the British Psychological Society (BPS).

Our main Practice is based in Southampton, and our second Practice will be opening in Brighton & Hove in early 2016.

Our new website launches in October with more details of who we are and what we do. . .

It can be really hard to say when we are not ok. If someone you know is acting differently, #asktwice.
You don't need to be an expert and you can make a huge difference. Have a look at these 5 simple steps to asking twice... https://www.time-to-change.org.uk/…/… /our-guide-asking-twice

There's a rainbow over Woodmill this evening. Sometimes, even the stormiest of weather can be followed by something beautiful.
