We went to Frankie and Bennys for tea tonight and took my mother inlaw who has dementia and Alzheimer's and all the staff where very patient with her and had a good joke with her too and kel our waiter was amazing � very good customer service skills mate was impressed with you

Highly recommended family restaurant and very dementia friendly even though she is mad as a box of frogs xx

We are hard working parents of two children. Finally getting a night to ourselves decided to catch a film with something to eat first if we had time. I asked the man seating is roughly how long food will be as we would like to catch a film that starts in about 40 minutes he said if you know what you would like he’ll love it straight away within five minutes my husband and I both had our main courses and drinks. The staff are very friendly, smiley, helpful and efficient. The food was lovely couldn’t fault it. And when we asked for a bill it was ready straight away thank you Frankie & Benny’s for a lovely evening out.

Had the best time. My food was delicious and the waitress lesha couldn't have been more helpful. She was brilliant. I let slip that it was my birthday and she got them to sing happy birthday and brought out a plate with a squirty cream face and a little chocolate sponge nose with a candle in it. She did this on her own back. All I can say was fantastic night. Thanks lesha

Booked a booth for a joint birthday celebration and could not fault it. Food was good and arrived all together. Our server was amazing. Sorry I didn't get her name but she was super friendly and went above and beyond for us. And we had a 50% off mains voucher from the F & B app which was a bonus. We will definitely be back ��

The restaurant is clean but basic. Paid for the proper menu £16,99 for a tiny piece of sirloin, a handful of chips, half a grilled tomato & 3 onion rings. A 5yr old would eat more than what was on the plate. Disgusting for the price.

Went in for a bite before a visit to the Pavillions, 2 of us so ordered the meat share platter, everything on there except the chicken bites was cold, the chicken bites were hard and over cooked. I chose a calzone, which was ok, the side salad that came with it was dry and limp so I had to ask for dressing/oil/ something to make it look more appetising and I got a weenie pot of ‘house dressing’ which was cheap bitter Caesar. I never complain but with a small bottle of cider at nearly a fiver and the bill came to £50, next time I’ll make my own. It was 5pm so very quiet too!

Went for a meal with my partner and daughter yesterday mid afternoon and wow it was one of the worst meals we have ever had!

His meal was over cooked, cold tasteless and mine was cold, swimming in grease and also totally tasteless.

The service was slow and rather unwelcoming.

I feel totally robbed for having to pay for the meal we had, yes they removed my partners but we still ended up paying over £50 for the experience �



To put it bluntly I’d advise never wasting your time or money at this place, there are better restaurants only a few steps away.

Very dissapointed. The waitress spilt cheese sauce into my Iphone speaker accidentally, to which i didnt realise until we all had our food on the table. That then made it all muffled and clogged with hardened sauce. It affected my music and calls. I went to carphone warehouse and they said they would have to send my phone away to get it taken apart to get it cleaned out. They then suggested to phone up Frankie and Bennys. I phoned up and they hung up on me and i couldnt yet through for another 4 times. Then phoned on a landline and it said how the number had been ‘temporarily closed’. Seems like all they care about is money in their till and offer no help for their wrongdoing. They took no responsibility for the incident and therefore, i suggest you dont go there.

Totally disgusting meal far too busy over an hour wait for table to be served chicken thats was full of fat and was as if it had been thrown in a microwave not even crispy as shown in menu it was as if it was been precooked to be cooked again , let alone cutting Into pink cold chiken dont waste your money or time going here.

Took my mother-in-law here for her birthday, first the drinks were very flat and teasted watered down then we got our food and it was freezing cold like it was the left overs from lunch time so we complanned and they said they would bring fresh over but all they did was heat it back up, the size of the meals were like childrens sizes and very overpriced, didnt say for afters as the person sat nexted to us didnt finnish theres and up and left so we did the same. The waitress argued with us when we pointed out that the kids drinks were meant to be included in the meal price, telling us we didn’t order kids drinks. The waitress leant over someone that was still eating as she started to clear the table before we’d finished. The birthday cake was brought out without telling us, we hadn’t asked for it so no one realised it was coming to our table and so we didn’t sing happy birthday. This isn’t the experience we were after and we won’t be coming back!! Such a shame.

The food and service were great absolutely not complaints. However, it was snowing outside and with wind chill factor it was -6 we went in for dinner and it was freezing. Everyone inside wearing coats and hats and staff shivering. It was not a great dining experience and was just really disappointing.

So disappointed. We went there for my birthday treat and was really looking forward to the mac and cheese. When it came out it was boiled pasta with parmesan cheese and bacon sprinkled on top. No cheese sauce and was so dry I had one mouthful and couldn't eat it. After explaining to the waiter why I didnt want to eat it he was so apologetic and couldn't apologise enough. He asked if I wanted anything else bit as everyone was was already half.qay through their meals it would need to be a quick meal. I went for carbonara as it was quick but it was tasteless, so I left 3 quarters of it. We had the meal deal so I had a desert, but again I hardly ate any of it as the waffles were stone cold. Such a waste of a evening out and money which we don't do very often. Gutted. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Initially handed a tech device which would indicate when our table was ready I guess..already feeling like a number....we couldn't have 3/5 drinks we ordered as they'd run out of ingredients. Next I had to remind the bar tender that they'd missed one of the elements of my mocktail, which as it turned out appeared to also be lacking the actual main ingredient. I may as well have had a glass of overpriced standard fruit squash.

3/5 food orders were terrible, with a hot dog that seemed to be mainly composed of water, and our wraps had about 25% of what was in the description and the rest was lettuce. These had then been heated up for some reason, resulting in hot, limp, wet lettuce that resembled pond weed.

We asked for extra water which came only after asking for it again 20 minutes later...they then brought us more as we were finishing our meal (I can only guess that this was them catching up with our original request).

Finally when we walked to the 'greeter' station to pay our bill we were basically asked to sit back down at our table and wait for the waitress.

When she came we said we were splitting the bill. Having showed her which items we wanted to each pay for she asked us to add them up. So we showed her again, being as we didnt have a calculator to hand and assumed she would be used to splitting bills, especially as she was doing everything via a handheld device, and she said 'so how much is that?' in a decidedly tolerant tone.

I should have complained at the time but just wanted to get out of the place and anticipated a complete lack of interest in anything we said.

If its a fast food automated joint then it should be run as such and not disguised as a restaurant. Not enough staff and the staff present need to improve their people skills.

A clean cloth throughout wouldn't go amiss!

Myself, a friend and my children visited the resturant a few weeks ago for lunch. The service wasnt great from the minute we entered as we were left waiting to be seated for a good 10 minutes, my children were becoming restless. Once being seated we ordered drinks which was fine despite the lack of friendly service and incorrect order, which was quickly rectified. We then ordered a started of cheesy garlic bread which was lovely! Unfortunately that was just about the only edible part of the meal. From there we recieved our main meals, one of which was incorrect, my sons cod fingers were dry and rubbery and frankly hard to cut. Needless to say he ate none of his meal. My friends meal was bland and watery cabonara and my new york chicken was greasy, overcooked, cheewy and covered in burnt bits from the grill, it was inedible. One set of fries was undercooked! (How is that even possible) it was just shocking. I wouldnt waste your money. When complaining the waitress made it clear it was a regular thing. Such a shame when you are out to enjoy a meal with friends and family!

I ordered an 8oz sirloin steak, what i got was 2 4 oz steaks which were so thin they were like rubber when it arrived, id asked for it medium rare, which i expected the meat to still be pink and some blood still present, these were well done and tasteless.

The chips were cold and to top it off the service was very slow. All in all a bad experience and we won’t be going there again.

Absolutely disgusting. My husband and I went there for breakfast. We waiting nearly 45 minutes for our meals to arrive. The food was stone cold and the bacon was raw.

The manager was pleasant and offered a replacement however by this time I really didn't want to eat there.

I sent them a message via this page which they still have not responded too.

Absolutely disgusted as just been turned away from the Plymouth establishment due to not being able to accommodate my baby's pram, when I asked to be seated round the bar area where there was plenty of space for a pram I was told that has to be kept free for drinks. Appalled at this service and won't be returning again.
