4 Purpose built rehearsal studios, soundproofed, acoustically treated, full PA, Drums, Backline, free tea and coffee as standard at competitive rates.
5 Professional recording studios, with 2 live rooms, including Dorset's largest live room, vocal booth & control room
6 A 300 capacity venue with completely flexible staging and seating, high quality PA and lighting, complete with engineering staff
7 Bespoke music lessons from a cadre of the very best music teachers in Dorset, all staff are professional musicians, passionate teachers, fully vetted and DBS.
8 Mother and Toddler group Rockpool is an early years music learning group session involving mums (and dads! ) in very hands on musical sessions, with lots of real instruments and visiting sessions from professional musicians, the perfect pre-school precursor to taking up an instrument /singing /performing arts coaching.

Due to the increase in demand for our recording services, we are in the process of relocating the studio from our current premises at Holton Heath Trading Park.
From May onwards the recording studios are moving to a beautiful brand new recording studio in a (for now) secret rural location literally minutes from where we are now. The facility features a large live room, isolation booths, a great control room with comfortable critical listening environment for playbacks, and i...s being equipped with a modern analogue console and outboard as well as all the usual digital equipment and a full suite of high end mics/amps instruments.
This new location will not only allow us to meet the very highest production standards, but also enables us to offer comfortable onsite accommodation, so that artists can operate in a creative and uncluttered environment.
Our aim is to continue the great work started at Freestyle Music Centre, and take this to the next level to make sure our clients get the very best product and the best opportunities to progress within the industry.

Wife bought a PA and mixer from here, got it home, couldn't get the mixer to work and took it back. Operator error is the word! Service is outstanding at Freestyle a tutorial and diagram later the PA is back home ready to go. Don't get service like this in most places we visit. :)
We rehearse and played live at freestyle, really friendly bunch of people with first class equipment and facilities, can't recommend this place enough....
We (the 'Spacers)'ve been practicing here for quite a while now, and it's an AWESOME place, run by the most awesome people. The only reason I gave just five stars at the rating is that you cannot give more!
I can see two options here: either I write a novel here about how good they are (and there's a chance that ppl won't read it if it's too long), or just simply suggest my readers to come along and find out!!!!!
This place is like a breath of fresh of fresh air, if you like live music you need to visit the middle VIII.
You get to see all the local talent, and it's free, and the bar prices are very agreeable.

This place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They do what they can to make sure the customer is happy. Great for rehearsal and checking out bands on Friday nights. Also has a bar!! If you are into music check it out.
The range of gear is magnificent. Surprisingly high in quality, incredible value (no really, stupidly good value) and as cool as you could ask. You have to take a look at the styling of the valve amps with the valves visible through a transparent front!
Popped in to check out freestyle and ended up walking out with a PA system! The prices and customer services were so good that it was too good a deal to walk away from. Highly recommend
If you could sit down and write a dream list of things that you want from a rehearsal / recording studio, what would you include?
Nice sized rooms equipped with top quality gear? A fully functioning live stage with PA and sound man? A bar (with really nice prices)? how about a well stocked music shop? or regular live music events with specially organised trains to get you home? or a business that actually gets off its collective arses and promotes local live music? Or how about some of the genuinely nicest staff running the place?
Freestyle has all of this and so much more..... the only thing I'd complain about is that Facebook only lets you give a 5 star rating, because this is most definitely a 6 star business. If you haven't discovered Freestyle yet, do yourself a favour and try it .... you're seriously missing out.
I'm a wedding singer and I needed a last minute PA! Mark was so helpful, set me up with a portable PA and talked me through the set up ( as in a bit of a technophobe!) thought it would set me back a bit but only cost £40!! Thanks Freestyle. I'm coming back �

Freestyle is a unique place in the universe. Operated by people who are passionate about music and community, we aim to be friendly, helpful, creative, supportive and enabling in all your musical endeavours.
Freestyle couldn't be run by a nicer bunch of people! Great rehearsal rooms, great studio and the shop is a hidden gem! Make this your go-to place for all your sticks/strings etc.
Fantastic purpose built space with treated rooms and a good range of (working!) gear/backline. Throw in tea & coffee and you've got one of the best rehearsal rooms in Dorset. Oh, Mark & Matt are top fellas as well. Highly recommended.
Brilliant. Only been here once but what a great night, great music and such a friendly group of people. And cheap drinks too, what more can you ask for. Will definitely be going again

Absolutely brilliant customer service, fantastic prices,and extremely helpful people. Mark and his team are so far beyond your average customer service, you won't want to go anywhere else. They are helpful and go above and beyond to help you out with absolutely anything. Great bar, cheap prices,.... rehearsal rooms, studios, live performances....everything you could want with down to earth and easy going people.

A totally cool venue run by really cool people. Definitely a place where music and talent will get the best chance to flourish. I saw three very different, but amazing bands, and at the same time, all the rehearsal rooms were rocking.
A great place to hang out, interesting bands playing for free, sofas, a little bar, and really friendly people. And you can get there by train from Poole so you can even have a drink
