What an incredible month, thank you to all the people and families that have allowed me to help them. 14 families and 4 businesses helped in the month of Feb.
My two highlights
- Helping a family who were paying £36 a month for £200,000 a year for life insurance (which was not enough for them) and getting them £375,000 life insurance for just £4 more a month. Understanding products and insurance companies was key.
... - Working with a local business with three owners to provide them with £150,000 Life Insurance paid for through their company, this gave them both a great benefit and reduced their tax bill.

Great start to the week 1 more family protected and 1 business insured. 3 people also have had their wills drawn up along with 1 power of attorney also created
- Family 1 - Mum, Dad and son.
Insurance has been put in place to ensure that if either or both parent is unable to work for more than 4 weeks they will receive £2,000 a month while off work for upto 5 years. The total cost for that income protection insurance was £31 a month.
... - Business - Small family run consultancy.
Critical Illness Insurance put in place so that if any of the three directors suffer a serious/critical illness the business will receive a lump sum of £75,000 so the business can keep trading even with the loss of a key person.

Another week draws to a close, two more families are now protected.
Family 1 - mum, dad, two kids. Their mortgage is covered completely should either of them pass away and an additional policy in place to pay out £100k on diagnosis of a critical illness.
Family 2 - mum and dad to a beautiful little baby. Policy in place to cover all of their mortgage if they pass away. An additional policy in place to make sure that the surviving parent will have £750 a month every month pai...d out until their baby is 21.

It has been a great week, four clients seen and a further three booked in.
A worrying trip to hospital for me a suspected broken fibula, thankfully it is just a ligament tear (which isn't ideal). Another set back to my football career 😉 (8 weeks out).
