This week we printed some tees and totes for our friends over at Machina Bristronica for an event they had coming up next weekend. We were devastated to hear when we delivered them that due to the Coronavirus outbreak, they've had no choice but to postpone the event.

With this situation affecting so many artists, promoters, labels, agents and the music industry as a whole, many are having to rely on merchandise sales to get through this rough patch.
We’re all in this together, and as many of you will have seen from our update yesterday, here at Fyahfly we have put some measures into place to make things a little easier and more affordable for new and existing customers with plans to stock up on goods for resale.
So, as of last night, we have:
* Reduced our minimum order quantity from 24 to 12pcs * Reduced prices by 5% across the board for everyone * Reduced our current package deal prices for single colour prints even further
The above measures are now in place until further notice for as long as we are able to operate and our supply chain remains intact. We have no plans to close or reduce our production capacity.

These are very uncertain times - especially for event promoters, record labels and artists in the music industry, who rely heavily on income from medium and large-scale events. Merchandise sales could prove to be vital for many promoters, bands and labels to recover costs or lost income from cancelled/postponed events.
To the general public - we urge you to please support small independent businesses at this time in any way that you can - buying merch, sharing social media po...sts etc will all go a long way to ensuring the survival of many small businesses.
We have been monitoring the situation closely in other countries and have seen many businesses affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. Now more than ever, these businesses are having to rely more on merchandise sales to get through this rough patch.
We’re all in this together and so here at Fyahfly we have put some measures into place to make things a little easier and more affordable for new and existing customers with plans to stock up on goods for resale.
So, effective immediately we will be:

We are sure you will appreciate that this is a fluid situation and aspects are changing daily. At present, we can report that we are working alongside all our suppliers to understand the impacts that Coronavirus is having on production, along with the welfare of all persons involved in the production. Currently, the information we have is that any impact to our suppliers will be minimal.
However, if quarantine measures were to be put into place in UK, we may be unable to secure a supply of blank apparel for printing, so now would be a good time to place any orders should this become a reality.

2 colour print on a white underbase for one of our favourite Drum and Bass labels Soulvent Records from a while back. These were printed on super nice premium organic cotton hoodies. . An underbase is a layer of white ink used as a backing for the other colours in a design and is needed when printing onto dark coloured garments. It really makes the colours 'pop'. Without an underbase, the colours appear more dull. In some cases this is desirable, like if your going for a 'vi...ntage' type effect, but if you want strong bright colours, an underbase is the way to go. . . . Soggy. That's probably the best way to describe the start of 2020 here at Fyahfly. As some of you may know we were unlucky enough to have quite a bad flood at our workshop here in Bristol a month or so ago.
