GaZaM tie dye is a husband and wife team that have turned their passion for doing tie dye from a hobby, to taking the next step and turning a hobby into a small organic business with the potential to grow. We are located on the south coast of England 20 miles away from the New forest. We are Gary and Sam, a pair of old hippies that like a bit of colour in our lives. It is our mission to bring more colour to the world with our colourful tie dye creations and brighten up peoples days with colourful clothing. The name of our shop “GaZaM” , if you haven't already noticed is an amalgamation of our names.
We started off doing tie dye as a hobby which would frequently take over our kitchen. We decided that we needed a space to do our tie dying which wouldn't encroach on the rest of the house . As a result we have converted our garage into a dedicated tie dye workshop where we can dye to our hearts content and not worry about making a mess.
We strive to make a good quality product with good quality garments and use the best quality dyes available. We use Procion reactive dyes. Procion reactive dyes are bright, vivid and long lasting. They will generally stay bright for the life of the garment if looked after correctly. We recommend using natural washing detergents on a 30-40°C wash cycle. Natural detergents tend to have less bleaching agents and tend to keep your tie dye garment looking at its best and the best thing is they're environmentally friendly too.
All of our creations are handmade and unique. They are like “finger prints” though many may look similar no two are identical. By purchasing one of our creations, you can be safe in the knowledge that nobody else in the world has an identical garment.
We are constantly looking to expand our range by adding different tie dye products and new patterns. Keep checking back to us as there are many different projects in the pipe line.
At the present we only ship to the UK, but we do hope to ship world wide in the future once we are more established. Sam is working full time with GaZaM and Gary only part time at the present. . However Sam does live with a debilitating condition called EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) which can slow her down at times. Please bare with us if your order appears to be delayed. But we do endeavour to process all orders within 3 working days.
We are also working on getting a fuller range of sizes and will endeavour to cover all sizes from XS through to 3XL and we can make t-shirts up to size 6XL upon request (this will take up to 4 weeks as we source and process your order). We are also going to have a full range of women's fitted t-shirts and kids t-shirts in all sizes.
