Gingerbeard'S Preserves Description

GingerBeardŌĆÖs Preserves is dedicated to making awesome tasting Craft Preserves that will get your taste buds singing out for more! Our recipes use our favourite beers, sourced from independent brewers, with our favourite seasonal ingredients and are forged to pair with and enhance a wide range of food and drink. For those you who prefer your preserves without beer, there is a delicious traditional range to try out.

Everything is handmade in small batches to ensure great quality using no artificial preservatives, pectin or gelling agents.

Beer, bacon and chilli jamŌĆ”need we say more? We have combined Arbor Ales breakfast stout with local free range bacon and Cascabel chillies to create a delicious medium spiced jam with bits of bacon and smoky, nutty undertones. Serving suggestions: eat directly out of the jar and top on everything.

We are back in St Nicholas Market for the Farmers and Producers market on the 5th, 12th and 19th of December 8am - 2.30pm. A great place to come and stock up on preserves for Christmas!

Your Sweet & Hot Lime Pickle is fabulous, I missed the fact it contains Moruga Scorpion chillis, its out of this world, fabulously hot and very fruity in taste! Ten out of ten, although I think eating some from the jar was a bit mad :)

We came across your amazing garlic pickle at the Clevedon market day. I have used it in a vegetarian style beef stew, sweet and sour and I even added a teaspoon in my bolognese sauce. WE LOVE IT! And we definitely want more!

Was introduced to Gingerbeards Preserves and Thane food festival. IŌĆÖm a big chilli fan as long as it has flavour, this is definitely the case with these guys. Their sauces and pickles are not only have heat but they are also packed with flavour. And if heat isnŌĆÖt your bag then theyŌĆÖve got plenty of mild jams (Apricot is lovely) and sauces.



My absolute favourites were the Hot Lime pickle and the Ghost Pepper Fusion.

Tried a few of these guys preserves and loved all of them! Can really recommend the BBQ sauce for those who like a little hint of spice.

Proper tasty locally made sauces/jams - I'm on the mango chutney at the moment, loads of flavour and just the right amount of spice... lush! Love the branding too great as a gift.. really nice guy who makes them too! Thanks Harry.

Just had the Horseradish and Beetroot relish with a cheeseboard, lovely stuff. I also have a jar of the cranberry, apple and walnut waiting to try. I bought both after trying them at the Cheese Fest in Bristol, and I will definitely be buying more. Amazing!

I visited the street market in Bristol while on tour with my band and as any mexican I needed a good sauce for the road and oh man, this was by far the tastiest hot sauce I tried in the UK.

I picked up three sauces at the May fair at Arnos Vale cemetery last weekend, the habanero hot, Moor beer ghost pepper and sweet chilli & and limoncello after a taster of them and they are fantastic.



They range from mild to burning, I put a bit of the ghost pepper on my friends sausage at the fair and watched as he changed for a period of 30 mins, a second ice cream was needed and he eventually returned to us... I will be clear with my advisories next time.



The limoncello is perfect for a mild touch and it added everything to my sausage sandwich just now while the habanero enlivened my home curry enough yesterday to leave a film of sweat on my brow after....



These are great and slowly but surely I will try your whole range, I'm pleased I can go into a local shop on Gloucester Road and get some too...



Ive already sung praises to a fellow chilli aficionado and will be telling everyone about your stuff.... Now Im waiting for the extra hot chocolate....

Have been introduced to the Habanero Hot Sauce after the Edinburgh cheese festival, what can I say, Wow! Amazing with everything from cheese toasties to kebabs. Will be ordering on line soon and looking forward to trying lots of other goodies.

Great products the heat in the ghost pepper fusion is bang on ...the fermented scotch Sriracha is Awsome...the habanero hot sauce is great with any thing. And the mexican bbq sauce is made for pork. Yes i have afew bottles more but don't want to bore you. Try it yourself. Great products. Great sauces. And very helpful staff.

Bought some sweet chilli with limoncello sauce at upfest today. Planning to take camping with us tomorrow, but couldn't resist a sneaky peak with some thai crackers....

Bought several small jars as presents for friends but kept one myself. Glad I did! Just tried the chilli apple cider jelly with crackers and brie... Delicious!

Amazing products. Heat in Habanero sauce is spot on but the beetroot and horseradish is a game changer. I eat that stuff on toast!

All kinds of awesome!! We have a fair selection of pickles, sauces & onions from Harry & we love them all! The Mango chutney is out of this world & the Banana ketchup with chai spices is phenomenal! Love the chilli pickled onions, mushroom ketchup & just bought my partner the heather smoked pickled selection. Can't wait to get some artisan vegan cheese from Mouses Favourite & dive into those!
