He's so excited in fact that he has decided to give away a wonderful Zildjian A Custom 20" Medium Ride!
For a chance to win, all you have to do is spend £50 with us in-store or over the phone tomorrow and a winner will be picked randomly at the end of the day.

An Evening with Steve Ferrone Friday 7th December
It gives us great pleasure to be able to announce to you all that we shall be hosting the incredible Mr. Steve Ferrone for a one-off, UK exclusive, Masterclass at the Ashcroft Arts Centre, Fareham, on the evening of Friday 7th December in association with our partners at Sabian, Gretsch, Westside Distribution & Gewa Music Gmbh.
Steve Ferrone is a musician who will certainly need no introduction to the GRD drumming community.... This simply legendary drummer has enjoyed a remarkable 45 year career performing & recording with a who’s who of legendary music industry artists & bands.
Mr. Ferrone’s groove has graced studio & live recordings by artists such as Chaka Khan, Eric Clapton, George Benson, Rick James, Duran Duran, Al Jarreau, Slash, Ronnie Wood, Stevie Nicks, Tracy Chapman, Bryan Ferry, Steve Winwood, The Bee Gee’s, Marcus Miller, Johnny Cash, Anita Baker, Freddie King, Peter Frampton, Brian May, Pat Metheny, Paul Simon and Jaco Pastorius to name but a few.
From 1975-1982, Steve was a member of the Average White Band. Steve’s playing on AWB albums such as ‘Cut the cake’, ‘Soul Searching’ and ‘Warmer Communications’, has been considered by many drummers around the world as the bible when it comes to funk drumming & laying down the groove and has no doubt influenced many of the beats on countless hip-hop records.
Steve continues to be a first-call studio & live musician due to his incredible signature groove & musicality and also, of course, due to his infectious personality. In recent years, he has worked exclusively with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and also The Straits, a band made up of Dire Straits alumni.
Steve, who has resided in Los Angeles for many years, was actually born & bred in Brighton, Sussex- We can't wait to welcome him back to UK for the enjoyment of the GRD drumming community and we sincerely hope you will join us for what is set to be yet another amazing evening brought to you by Graham, Haley and the team at Graham Russell Drums.
DOORS - 7pm SHOW STARTS - 7.30pm

Without this shop it would be impossible to receive my dark blue Hardcases in Greece.

James Allen made his best and thank him for it!

User

Without a doubt, the best drum shop in the country!

Always a friendly welcome and a coffee on offer.

Not only do they have an amazing array of stock both new and used, but experienced staff who give great advice! I was really struggling finding the right stick for my style of playing and after discussing with staff I was persuaded to try a stick that I would not of considered, I know have found my signaure stick thanks to these guys!

Their customer service and knowledge is second to none. You would be mad to go anywhere else!

User

What great customer service from Graham Russell Drums. I had a problem with my double pedal I brought last weekend and he asked me to bring it in which I did and he fixed it straight away and explained what happened, gave me the right tool for the pedal and something for the inconvenient. 5 Star Customer service right there :)

User

What an amazing shop, if you're a drummer it's a one stop for everything... Well stocked in every way, very knowledgeable staff and friendly atmosphere... The very best drum store I've seen anywhere in the world.

User

What a great store!!! I just bought my first acoustic drum kit after a year on an electronic DTX450k. I was arguing with myself between new kit vs. second hand, and was torn between the two. I was looking at ebay, Gumtree, etc, but when I found Graham Russell Drums website, it was like finding a gold mine. With great kits across all price ranges, that you can see, touch, and play before you buy... It’s the place to go to first!!! Plus you can enjoy 1st class customer service, and a coffee as well!!! Thanks to Graham and Jack for your expert guidance, time, and patience today.

In summary, why would you want to buy new, when there are so many good value kits, add-ons, and accessories in this store, and all are sensibly priced to be sold quickly.

I will steal a quote from their website by Marsha Norris – It’s like a sweetie shop for drummers… and I'll be going back very soon for some more sweets. ;)

User

Visiting this shop is always worth while. The amount of stock which is very competitively priced along with excellent, knowledgable staff make my 2and a half hour journey easily worth it. I've been 4 times now and am always offered any assistance I could want and have also been just as well left to browse. All the staff know their craft and are able to assist with your buying decisions and offer alternatives that work just as well. I'm always impressed by this shop, the staff, the choice of stock and simply, the best service I've ever had at any drum shop anywhere. Graham & Guys, just keep on keeping on. Big love guys.

User

This the best drum shop I have ever been in. It is truly outstnding in terms of knowledge, friendly and efficient service and has an enormous stock. Graham and Haley are fab people who go so far beyond selling drums down to providing coffee and helping out when your car clutch has failed. Top, top people that make this an amazing centre of excellence that maintains a warm and friendly welcome. Why not go down and see what they have and better still try it out!

User

My first visit yesterday to pick up a new drum kit. Top class service from friendly, knowledgeable staff, superb quality stock and layout. Mightily impressed.

User

I visited the shop on Saturday to change from Zildjian to Meinl cymbals. I couldn't argue with the part exchanges prices given as they were very fair. The service was brilliant, especially being able to try out so many different types of cymbals. I used my new Meinl's over the weekend and they are fantastic! The stadium dry ride is out of this world, whilst the 22" dual and vintage crashes compliment it nicely. Again, great service, nice atmosphere, great advice/tips in respect of what you are looking for, which is important when your making a decision on spending quite a bit of money.

Thanks

User

I love this place, it is by far the best drum store in the UK! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the store has a great selection of new and used equipment. I could spend a day in here and not get bored, shame it is so far away from home. I will be sure to visit again if I am in the area.

User

I absolutely adore Graham Russell Drums! The shop is always stocked with the best drum gear around, the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. They host masterclasses with some of the top names in the drum community too, which is an awesome bonus! It's my go-to shop for anything and everything drums, I won't go anywhere else!

User

Hi drummys, I was thrilled to have won the 3 minute trolley dash to just run round and load up at Graham Russell drums shop. It's the first thing I've ever won, I was thrilled . I went straight to the sticks to get three blocks of vic firth 5a,s , and planned a little , so with only one trolley I chucked in a few g1s and g2s, three minutes is so generous. I dashed to the snares, and put three top range map ex snares to the collection, cymbals were out being upstairs so , just crammed a dunnitt snare in another little space, I didn't want to completely let adrenalin overwhelm me so filled the rest of space with bits from the accessories section , just chucked loads of different stuff in , and a few cymbals were downstairs waiting to be priced up, so filled the rest of of the nooks and cranny so with anything I could squeeze in. It was a great liberating experience, then I said Mr Russell I'm so curious to know how much would of cost me paying through the nose , after a bit of deliberation , he announced £56, thanks gray for the day, and the champagne after I got my breath back., gr drums the only way to go , I saved £56, lotsalove bobous xx

User

Heard good things about this place, and seen it advertised in many places so thought I'd give it a go. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. My pre-ordered internet order was ready straight away, but I still couldn't resist a look around for a few more bits. The staff were all very friendly and the guy helping me (James, I think - sorry this might be wrong!) was very patient and made sure he had time to help me. There's loads of variety in store, all very reasonably priced.

All in all a very good service, I'll definitely be back!

User

Having used Graham Russell Drums for a few years now, I can honestly say the service I always receive is flawless (not to mention a cuppa).

As well as an extensive range and staff knowledge, they have also helped out with a couple of last minute repairs before heading on tour.

I can't recommend this comapny enough!!

Cheers!

First visit yesterday on the recommendation of a friend. My Son wanted a double bass pedal and to upgrade some cymbals. We were met by a Graham who introduced us to Thomas. Thomas then spent over an hour with us, making my Son feel right at home. Couldn't have been happier with the whole experience and will continue to shop here.

User

Excellent Service, Daughters Birthday soon, spoke to Graham when we arrived, discussed our daughters requirements, Ollie showed us the drums and symbols that would be suitable, no hard sell, walked out of there with a happy daughter, Ollie was brilliant, would strongly recomend this company.

User

Drove all the way from Cirencester, Glos. to be met with a warm welcome and a cup of coffee...not to mention the drum nirvana when you first walk through the door! Great selection of new and pre-loved stuff. Everyone helpful and friendly - not a guitarist in sight 👍🏼. Will be back soon to buy/sell. Thanks!!

User

Been meaning to visit for quite a while. What a great drum store - brilliant, enthusiastic staff led by Graham himself - and you are made to feel very welcome. There's a fine range of gear to pore over and nothing is too much trouble for the team there. I'll be back.....

User
