Sweetie Rations... all smiles until they understood what it meant 😉
Here are some top tips for treat times (and yes even the Dentists kids have them too 😬😁)
1) Enjoy them all in one sitting. It’s a great idea in principle to spread them out over the day but grazing throughout the day means numerous exposure to acid. ... 2) Plain chocolate beats Haribo, hands down every time - it’s less sticky and saliva washes it away faster. 3) Raisins are loaded with sugar and stick in teeth, so aren’t quite as virtuous as they seem. 4)Fresh fruit- whilst still high in natural sugar is better than dried fruit.
An obvious rule of thumb; the sweeter it tastes - the more sugar is in it.
