About Hampshire Narrow Gauge Railway Trust

The Hampshire Narrow Gauge Railway Society was founded some forty-five years ago with the aim of establishing a public narrow gauge railway in Hampshire, and later evolved into an equipment operating group. In October 2006 it was incorporated into the Hampshire Narrow Gauge Railway Trust, an important milestone which will lead to further developments. With bases for its operations at the Bursledon Brickworks Industrial Museum in Hampshire in the south of England and the Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre in Sussex, the Trust conserves and operates narrow gauge equipment dating back to the end of the nineteenth century.
