Customer called with complaints of a leaking shower and lots of damp!
Removed old shower and enclosure, took back to studwork and joists and replaced all rotten joists with new. Installed new bigger shower tray, UPVC sheets and bigger shower enclosure. Made good using existing tiles etc until they turn into a wet room in a few years!

Finishing touches on four extremely heavy acoustic doors for QuietStar

Recently installed two bespoke acoustic fire doors back to back at an underground studio in central London for QuietStar

supply & fit kitchen in Southampton. firstly we ripped out the old kitchen to expose some very bad walls so patched in the plastering to give us a nice start! fitted kitchen with oak worktops, finished with some metricks tiles. Carpentry, plastering, plumbing, electrics and tiling carried out by ourselves at Harman Carpentry.
SAVER ALERT!... We also managed to save our customer a huge £2k from their previous quote from wickes!

Personally, this was my favourite job of 2019!
We removed the old brittle plastic roof. Raised the ceiling by 9 inches, replaced a few of the windows while adding additional steel supports before we then built a new roof with three glass sky lights then rubber membraned the roof! Internally we insulated the roof and boarded the ceiling then finished with plastering and decorating.

We were asked to build a walkway from the house to the hot tub so this family didn’t have to walk through a cold dusty garage.
Reinforced stud wall skimmed on the internal and ply garage side, raised timber frame floor fully insulated. Finished with skirting and oak doors to match the house.

solid oak floorboard refurb. We stripped back this scruffy oak flooring and repaired the damaged boards, filled, sanded and finished with a lovely oil of the customers choice. This was such a satisfying job and the customers are over the moon!
