We reserved a table, so was seated straight away. Our waitress was extremely nice and very friendly. Our drinks and food came quickly and was lovely. We had a lovely time.

Visited yesterday for Breakfast due to a power cut at home, Brilliant service from Tracey, great food,I only downside was language of the chef coming from the kitchen!!.Will add of all Harvesters have used over the years this is the best and others could learn a lot from Ham Farm.

User

Visited last night for my daughters birthday had great meals all round! I'm one of those annoying people that completely changes the menu but Frances (sorry if I spelt that wrong!) was happy to check I could do that and the chef was happy to do it! So thank you very much! Ham farm is always our go to for meals as something for everyone and always been great when we have been! οΏ½

Harvester at Ham Farm is fantastic, staff are so friendly. Food is excellent in quality and quantity...

Fabulous value for money

Visited on Boxing Day. Wonderful waitress. Starter of garlic mushroom pot with bacon and cheese was delicious. Desserts were amazing but main meal was disappointing. I had turkey dinner. The roast potatoes were lovely but turkey bland sheets of nothingness. Also veg was tasteless and stuffing dry cardboard. Roast chicken someone else had looked nice but they said the same about the rest of the meal. My partner had sea bass and said it was tasteless. Shame cos rest of meal was lovely.

User

Visited here several times over the years. Also been to many other Harvester restaurants over the country.

We generally get good food in most of the chains restaurants we visit, but we also do get quite a few bad meals.

That said we have Never had a bad meal at the Ham Farm. Staff always pleasent, facilities could be better. Usually sat down pretty quickly when we havent booked, but their bar next door is pleasent too.

Food is always of good quality, not the best food out there, but it's a restaurant we can always trust which is quite hard to find and so I applaud the staff of the Ham Farm for getting it right. I don't know how you do it but very pleased you do.

Thank you

Stayed overnight on business, hotel nice and clean, had a room at back so had nice views across river and rail line. Had evening meal in Harvester was very good and salad bar excellent, staff very attentive so good night around.

User

Seated straight away. Drinks sorted quite quickly. Couple of items on the menu not available. Food came and was fairly hot but my daughters had asked for their steaks to be rare but more medium. We ordered dessert. The chocolate fudge cake was delicious but could have been half the size. The children's menu was fine.

User

Excellent service, friendly waitress, the food was enjoyable & well presented. No complaints from the rest of the people I was Dining with either.

User

As per all travel lodges, comfy nights sleep. Having the harvester and pub adjacent was a god send. So will be staying again at some point in the future

User

Went last night with friends for my birthday. Salad bar great as always I ordered sirloin, medium to well done. Friend ordered rump medium to rare. Mine so over cooked couldn't cut it properly and the bits I did manage to cut made my jaw ache trying to chew them. Friends was so bloody extremely rare. They've also changed the menu again and for me not a lot to choose from. Sadly not a very good meal. However our waitress Sarah was brilliant and very funny.

User

Arrived at 7pm on Monday for a meal with a friend. I had to send the burger back as it wasn't cooked through and I hadn't asked for it to be rare. Had to order dessert quite quickly as told the kitchen closed at 8. Thought we woukd go to the pub next door but on entering about 8.15 we were told they were closed. Sorry Harvester won't be back!!

User

Went for a works Xmas meal starter ok main which was the Xmas burger chips well over cooked couldn't eat them even with mayo on top burger so much turkey inside made it very dry out in blanket burnt stuffing ball was best part desert was ok wouldn't go back

User

We arrived at approx 5.30pm. The premises looked to be clean and orderly. The staff were well presented and courtieous as you would expect. The food however was a different story.

I ordered a Nachos starter that I was unable to eat. The Nachos chips were soft and stale.

Both our main meals had chips that were luke warm and soft. I had the Cod which was ok. My partner had a rack of ribs that clearly had seen better days. Although the cost of my starter was deducted the whole experience of visting this establishment was extremley dissapointing and a complete waste of our time and and money. I would suggest a new team in the kitchen who knew how to cook is in order.

User

So disappointed. Ordered a rump steak .. well, I have NEVER had such a tough old boot/steak in my life. Half was left, half chewed under the serviette and the rest left on the plate. Jaw pain. Too awkward to complain as it would have spoilt the evening. Next time I need a pair of old leather boots .....

User

Went for breakfast, not a good experience. We paid for the premium breakfast however the buffet kart was near on empty, the bowls at the buffet kart were all dirty, when we received our breakfasts both mine and my wife's orders were missing items, eggs were over cooked and the tomatoes were still raw. Sort it out harvester!! Not good enough.
