Richly diverse, healthy environments, brimming with wildlife are the key to ensuring dynamic and productive ecosystems. We all need to do our part for the health of our planet, which is why we will be walking for wildlife with our President, Chris Packham, as we represent the small part we play in this as we persevere to conserve birds of prey. #PeoplesWalkforWildlife

What a wonderful place! My 2 year old loved looking at all the birds and taking part in the pond dripping. The flying display was amazing; both funny and serious with the chance to see some incredible birds. I would highly recommend the Hawk Conservancy Trust as a place to visit.

User

What a fantastic Day out with my veterans..

The grounds are well kept and well thought of.

The staff as a whole were fantastic and showed great compassion. One particular lady went above and beyond to help one of my veterans who was struggling but refusing to give in.. she kindly went and got him a motorised scooter for the rest of his trip so he wouldn’t miss out. It’s a shame the lady in the booking office wasn’t happy that this empathetic member of staff didn’t charge one of our country’s war veterans £5 for the use of it.

User

We have had an outstanding day at the hawk Conservancy today. The displays were excellent and the passion that the team members have for the birds and their jobs really shone through. Martin Hughes Games was fantastic and that really added to our day. It was a real pleasure to meet him. Miriam was an excellent presenter, extremely knowledgeable and a natural speaker. A world-class day out.

The Hawk Conservancy Trust is without doubt, the best wildlife experience i can recall visiting. Just off the A303 near Andover, only an hour or so from West London, the trust is a special centre for birds of prey. But, if your expectations are of cages with animals just for show, think again. At the trust, they fly the birds, vultures, hawks, Ibis, Crane and more in and around the three key viewing areas to show you how the birds would do so in the wild. Combined with a brilliant atmosphere created by carefully selected music and brilliantly informative speakers, by the end of it i guarantee the emotions for wildlife preservation, birds in flight and more will have taken a deep root. That may sound overblown, but its seriously that good. You need a day, don't cheat yourself as there are key events and talks from 1030 - 1600, but the day will fly by.. family, couples anyone will love this place.

User

Spent the day here yesterday, absolutely fantastic! Three different displays, all better than any I've ever seen. I was amazed, moved, awed, thrilled, entertained and educated! The birds are all wonderful; the handlers so interesting and clearly dedicated to the birds. The environments are beautiful and well-designed, as good as they can be for tame birds. Doing great work here and in Africa. Meeting Martin Hughes-Games was a bonus but all the staff were ready to answer questions, friendly and enthusiastic. On a practical note - good parking, great food, good info boards, everything clean and well-organised. Every generation having a great time. I really can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you, we'll be back soon x

My mum received an owl experience for Christmas which we attended yesterday. Well what an amazing afternoon, despite the heat! The birds and other animals at this sanctuary are just amazing.

The 2 members of staff with us for the experience were brilliant, they had a lot of knowledge and could answer any question asked without hesitation. They really did make the day special for mum who enjoyed flying the owls immensely.

All in all a great place to visit and the work they do is blinding. Please do visit this local sanctuary and support these birds 🦉🦅

User

Lovely day. All birds and staff performed heroically despite the heat and we were very privileged to have a Barn Owl land on the back of our bench within inches, for several seconds, complete with its supper in its beak. Made eye contact briefly. Wonderful.

Hope to return to view 'moonlight ' flying later in the year.

User

Just popped into the Hawk Conservancy for a spot of lunch and to fill time before we checked into our B&B. Was so glad we did. It was fantastic. It just happened to be the day that Martin from Springwatch was there which was great. The displays are breathtaking and the staff so informative and interesting. We had an amazing time and the food in the restaurant was also very good. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

User

I took some of my camera club members and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. Highly knowledgable staff and great for photography. We liked it so much we will return with the other half of the club soon

User

User

Had an amazing day here today! Gutted I never knew about this place sooner! we stayed the full days and watched all the events, All I can say is wow! the Africa one was our favourite, so much effort has clearly gone into making it what it is! Another favourite is the vultures flying really low and you having to duck etc... Food was lovely, the place is clean and tidy! The staff are lovely! Really made our day that much better... they are clearly so passionate about the birds and full of knowledge... we can’t recommend this place enough for all ages! Can’t wait to return. The only bad point I have to say is that the birds was to quick flying about for a beginner photographer like myself to get a shot haha;-)!! Thank you so much guys!

User

As my husband & I are both full time wheelchair users the disabled facilities here are fantastic, everything is flat & accessible, the staff were helpful & friendly & the flying displays were amazing letting all the audience see the birds up close!! The aviaries were the best I’ve ever seen, plenty of space for the birds to enjoy & the gift shop had something for everyone, I cannot say more but to highly recommend this attraction to everyone!! All the staff working here should be immensely proud of a fantastic venue!!!

User

An utterly amazing place to spend time. The falconers and birds in your displays are a credit to you, sublime and an absolute pleasure to watch.

Fantastic food in the feathers cafe, immaculate grounds, and a plethora of birds to see as you move around the grounds. A brilliant place to bring even the youngest members of your family, something for everybody and I cannot recommend the Hawk conservancy highly enough. Fabulous stuff!

As a first time visitor here I was absolutely amazed at how lovely this place was.

Amazing day out, the displays are breath taking and it's hard to chose a favourite. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We went with a 5 year old who loved it, especially the tractor ride. Will defiantly be heading back soon. Thank you

Absolutely lovely day out. The flying displays were amazing and the birds are beautiful. The grounds are lovely to walk around, especially regs meadow and we had a tractor ride too. The all important ice creams, were very reasonably priced, keeping the kids happy. A fab new play park too which the kids didn't want to leave. We all had a great time

Absolutely fabulous day to celebrate my Mum's 74th birthday. Did two of the shows, which were amazing, plus the pre-booked afternoon tea. It was a real treat to see all the birds up close and flying. Highly recommend a visit, you won't regret it. Something for all ages to enjoy.
