We were disappointed a broken oven we reported last year had still not been fixed. However, great service from park manager who arranged for a new oven to be fitted within an hour of picking up our complaint so really can’t fault that. Been coming here over 10 years, peaceful quiet park with beautiful grounds and lakes - already booked to come back in September.

We have just got home from a delightful 2 week stay. Our lodge with hot tub was beautiful we even had an indoor garden! We had a couple of teething problems put right straight away. Normally I plan our days activities but here we just relaxed used the hot tub went to local shops. We had a couple of days out but generally stayed local and loved it! We were fortunate with the weather which always helps. In the evening we used the clubhouse, fair prices, tasty food and brilliant entertainment from Ben, Michael, Abby and Jesse. Always something happening. Only disappointment was the fishing but that was solved by going off site to Home Farm at Mamhead a lovely fishery with facilities.

All in all a cracking holiday.

We had a fabulous holiday at Hazelwoood Park last week and it was our second time as we were there last year. It is a lovely place to stay and is central to all amenities, especially the promenade with the beach and places for eating and the fair for the children. We stayed in one of the lodges and they are beautiful and spacious and all facilities are excellent. Will be back next year definitely ,such caring staff xx

We are on holiday at the moment. It's our 1st time here as it was recommended by a friend as they've been coming here for many years! We are having such a lovely time! All staff are friendly and very helpful, our lodge is amazing with an added extra of a hot tub which we love!! The park is beautiful & so peaceful. We will be booking to come here again next year xx

Stayed here with my husband and young children for the first time, they are age 6,4 and 1. We have been to Dawlish plenty of times but never here. Had a lodge with a hot tub, and it was worth every penny. Plenty of space for the five of us, kids loved the hot tub, site mostly flat so easy to navigate with a pushchair. Clubhouse really friendly and welcoming and kids entertainment just enough. Jess, Dani and Michael were good with the kids. Would say probably easier if the clubhouse had a card machine. Wouldn't recommend the chip shop on site. Waited 45 minutes for half a Greggs bag of chips for £2. Wouldn't have even fed my 4 year old. Overpriced for what it was.

All staff were really friendly and for a site that was at capacity, certainly didn't feel like it. Beautiful surroundings with lakes, lovely kids park and outdoor pool. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book a break away. We will be back, part of me was even gutted we had already booked to go abroad next year! Thank you for a really enjoyable. Everything from our initial booking through to end of stay was seemless.

Second year at the holiday park and booking for next year too. We came with our 17 year old son, two nieces of 15 and 12 and my sister too this year lovely clean site. Our chalet was spotless when we arrived - kids impressed with the huge TV. We don't know his name but a HUGE THANKYOU to the very kind member of staff who re-opened the pool one evening for my nieces. They felt very special indeed - a whole pool to themselves. They have had a difficult year with their mum being ill and the random act of kindness was very much appreciated - the staff in the shop and reception are lovely and friendly. The park is very well maintained, making it a lovely place to stay. Ideally situated for the beach and our family who are local living in the Warren and in Dawlish too. Over the years we have stayed here around five times and always received a warm welcome - thankyou Hazelwood Park - Helen, David, Shona, Tom, Bridie & Lilly - see you next year - chalet no 126

Only 5 stars.! I would put 10 stars up.! Staff on the the site are polite and helpful, great shops near by, Great entertainment in the club house with Bingo, song and dance from the entertainers, pool comp to win a half price Holiday (which i came second.!) also 3 fishing lakes on the site to fish on where i caught my Ghost Carp (which they named after me.!), Beach close by with arcades and shops. Been coming down to Dawlish Warren for years. Can't wait to go back.!!! Love the place my second home.!!!

Another fantastic week at Hazlewood holiday park 13th May-20th May. Cannot fault the place, lovely & clean & friendly staff. The hot tub option is amazing for the night, looking at the stars. The weather wasn't the best but it didn't stop me & my family having a great time. Cannot wait to go back!

User

Our 2nd visit and as usual the park is clean and tidy, and the staff are brilliant as usual.

Only downside is the entertainment, after last year I was hoping for something a bit better, but unfortunately it seems to have dropped a bit.

Less entertainment staff hasn't helped, so less variety.

Michael was brilliant during Sunday Lunch, just a pity he didn't spend the whole time singing, great voice.

Only other downside is the on-site chippy, great food, but there is a chippy just up the road, and last year they did something different which I personally preferred. But apparently a chippy was the preferred choice of visitors.

Overall nice park, clean and well presented, with great staff.

Have just left after my week there been down the last 8 years but this year was a bit of a let down lots of dog poo up around the kids park, paths around our chalets are very slippery after the rain we had due to over growth of moss, my little boy fell over twice, elderly family with us had trouble walking on the paths also, I cut my finger on a bit of metal from the bathroom lock on door frame which my partner also ripped her top on, windows really hard to open think maintenance has lacked over the last year or so, felt bad keep going to reception complaining so I bought WD40 my self to loosen windows, females from entertainment crew over at the club lacking enthusiasm, wifi not working but contacted company for refund was told 5 days but still no refund, launderette meant to close at 6 but tried to close it early when we were in there. Other then these issues the park is normally a lovely place to stay and lovely area just feel disappointed this year will have to think about returning next year I've only given 4 stars as I do like the area but do check the site for yours selfs!!

Arrived slighly early say an hour however lodge was all ready and waiting. We were allocated a 2 bed "poplar" lodge and very nice too. Spacoius for our family of 4. Added bonus on washing machine and dishwasher. Main bedroom had en suite along with main main bathroom with bath and over head shower. We opted for the hot tub option and perfect end tk the night watching sun go down with a drink on hand. Club house is dated a little like a working mans club however cant moan as food was hot and very nice with a good price, sunday carvery very generous. Pool was nice. We were blessed with this heatwave so people were enjoying the sun so i think more sunbeds are needed and please consider parasols i dread to think what the actual summer holidays are like i felt like a german reserving a coulle of beds!! Dawlish warren itself is nice traditional sea side not too chavvy

User

Arrived here and was greeted with a very warm welcome the chalet was a pleasent supprise to very clean and everything there. After a 7 hour drive the kids had plenty of space to relax.the whole family enjoyed our stay and to cap it off i managed to catch a lovely carp will definately be stopping over again next time i am over from Ireland

Reception staff very friendly. Once I'd unpacked I returned to reception to compliment them on how clean my chalet was. Everything was spotless, which, for a 'dog friendly' chalet is lovely. The park is lovely, the lakes are a beautiful place to sit and watch the wildlife, get a bit of air. Only non-complimentary thing I have to say is, for a dog friendly site the bartender and takeaway manager were very rude. I was told when I arrived that there was a patio behind the clubhouse where I could sit with my dog for a drink. When I went into the clubhouse I was rudely told, 'no dogs in here', when I asked politely how to get to the patio area?, I was told 'there's a gate', very abrupt, not nice. I didn't go in there during my stay. Also, I queued to order a takeaway and again was rudely told no dogs! No signage to say no dogs allowed. I didn't use that facility either. I would stay again, because the park is lovely. Saying it is a dog friendly camp is false advertising.
