Tissues at the ready for our neighbour, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, is gearing up to play host to WildWorks Theatre and their brand new emotionally charged show, 100: UnEarth.
At the Lost Gardens of Heligan from 3rd to 22nd July, 100: UnEarth is a story of war, love, loss and hope. It explores what happens when war is over; when people have to move on with their lives, whether that is a woman bringing up children on her own or a soldier attempting to return to normal life.

The location of the park nestled next to the glorious Lost Gardens of Heligan, close to many of Cornwall’s other great gardens, and near to some of the most beautiful coastline in Cornwall means you’ll have more than enough to fill your days away from the park. There’s something quite special about wrapping up warm and getting outside for a good old walk on a chilly winter’s day but we’ve got to hold our hands up; our fave part is always the well-earned café stop.

We were meant to stay for one night, to go into the gardens, but we liked it so much we stayed a further 3 days. Very friendly, great faculties.

If you got dogs, lovely walks to Mevagissey or to St Austell, on a private pathway they go on for miles so pretty with Bluebells and wild flowers out no cars or traffic on this winding lane.

When you stay here Helligan gardens right next to campsite. There is a farm shop and cafe so you can go over for a breakfast.

We will come again, we will bring our family next time as there is a lovely natural playground and places to run. Helligan have a children advent so this campsite would be perfect.

Fantastic

User

We have just returned from our first time camping at Heligan Woods and we loved it!! A beautiful site in a perfect location with lots to do nearby. Spotlessly clean and with friendly staff we would highly recommend a stay here .

User

Want to withhold our actual glowing review secret to keep this place to ourselves...but that’s not fair. My husband, two teenage daughters and I had a wonderful long weekend at Heligan...gorgeous flowers attracting an array of bird life; beautifully manicured and generous sites; facilities were great. Peaceful and quiet. Will definitely back!

User

Very clean well kept site. Entrance can be missed if proceeding at pace. We have two dogs, so having the cycle/walking paths round the edge of the site is brilliant. Walks to Mevagissy, Pentewan and St.Austell along the trails (about 2.5 miles) through woods, beside the river and in parts beside the road are manageable. There are bike hire places for those that have"forgotten" to bring their own. Main food stores, Asda and Tesco within five miles from site, although the site shop keep the essentials if you arrive without them. Happy Trails.

User

This was the first time we had stayed at a private park. We are in the Caravan Club and have only stayed on their sites. We were really impressed with this site, our pitch and the friendliness of most of the staff.

The facilities were clean and well cared for. The park area is tidy and is a joy to stay at. The garden areas were being filled with plants which will add to the beauty of the site once established. We are so impressed we have booked for a full 2 weeks next year.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan adjacent to the park has a farm shop, cafe and gift shop you can pop into for free. I have thoroughly enjoyed the week here and can't wait to come back. Thanks to the staff who added to our experience. 9th to 16th May 2018 Angela Rowell pitch 77.

User

The trip was our first holiday together and also my first time camping, we loved every minute of it. We had a non-electric tent pitch that over looked beautiful fields it was wonderful to wake up to that view every morning. The bathroom facilities were brilliant, clean and better than what I imagined and the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We loved it so much we ended up paying for an extra night. It also led straight into The Lost Gardens of Heligan for an amazing day out without the need to drive, a 30 minute country walk to Mevagissey and still only a 15 minute drive to St Austell town centre if you forget anything or like us and need to buy extras. This is a true countryside getaway without forfeiting creature comforts and we are already planning our return visit.

User

The nicest camp site we have used with a fantastic team who deliver 500% plus

User

Thank you Lesley and Peter for making our stay at Heligan extra special by you both being so friendly. You make the park just that bit extra special. It is a beautiful campsite surrounded by beautiful places and is kept looking beautiful by the two of you and your fabulous team. We would recommend the site to everyone and look forward to seeing you all again x

User

Really enjoyed our few days at this site. We could walk to the gardens and Mevagissey just down the road. The site was very clean and we had a good pitch with a view. Having a motorhome we thought the idea of having a self levelling pitch should be adopted everywhere. When we arrived the warden was really friendly and gave us lots of tips.

User

My favourite site in a long time. Beautifully kept and staffed by the nicest people. Especially Lesley who helped put a smile back on my daughter's face! Loos and showers spotless and grounds beautiful. Nice little playground which we could see from our pitch. Lovely fellow guests too. Hope we get the chance to go back x
