Last Sunday evening, Mike shared our vision to complete the transition from being a Large Church to a Resource Church. 💷 We're holding two gift days this month to support three specific areas of this vision. Ways to give can be found in our e-news and will be explained at our 7.45am and 9.30am services today, and at all services next week. 🙏 Please prayerfully consider how to respond to the calling God is placing upon Highfield and please give generously to enable us as we seek to become a Resource Church.

☀️ Do you like a holiday? Do you like having some fun? Do you like spending time with friends over a meal? 🦒 Could you help us to help those who can’t get away on holiday this year by joining our Holiday at Home team? We'd love more volunteers to embark on a two-day African Safari with us! 🎪 The Big Top circus tent will be coming to town this May Half Term! This is our annual Holiday Club for primary age children: running from 28th to the 31st, 10am to 1pm each day. 📖 We'll be exploring the circus skills of some Old Testament characters and what they teach us about God, as well as the usual songs, games and activities. 🙋🙋♂️ Could you help to make this holiday happen?! We're excited to be welcoming Rt Revd Mike Hill to Rooted this year: an inspirational speaker who is passionate about evangelism and leadership. We're also pleased to announce that Pete Sheath will be joining us: leading an additional session in the main marquee early on Saturday evening. Pete runs Funky Sunday at Cliff Festival, is passionate about all age worship and believes the church should be rooted in people of any age being together. Pete will also be co-leading with Helen in our children’s work on Saturday morning. Next Sunday (28 April) is our APCM and Vision evening - a time to join together as a whole church, reflect upon the year just gone and to look forward to the year ahead.
We'll be gathering in Church from 4pm; please extend this invitation to your small groups - we'd love to see everyone there!
It's not too late to invite your friends along to this year's Good Friday gathering, when we'll be exploring God’s Big Story of how what’s broken gets fixed and and how Jesus died as part of Gods plan to fix the broken world. Bring the kids along for all or part of the morning's activities:
