They are a fantastic company to work for very different from all of the rest of the care companies out there . Have and would recommend them to friends if they need family senior care at some stage in the future.

I started working for home instead in March this year. I had not worked for a while due to bringing my two children up. I had never done care work before so thought I would give it a go and I will tell you now and anyone who asks me it is the best move I ever made. The office staff are all so lovely and friendly and helpful, nothing is ever to much trouble for them. They are brilliant with work hours to fit around my children. Their training is fantastic and is carried out by a fantastic lady. The supervisors are fab ladies. It is a joy and a pleasure to work for home instead.

I started volunteering back in November 2016 at the memory café that Luisa & Graeme provide for elderly people (some of which are not their clients) to come and socialise, have tea & cake, play games, quizzes etc in Warsash. I can honestly say that I feel so honoured and privileged to be part of a team/company who go the extra mile to make people happy. I have seen for myself what wonderful people can do when they provide a service that is free for all to come along too. I very much look forward to helping out every other Wednesday, it my little treat. So thank you for being so welcoming & making me part of what you're doing.

I have worked for Home Instead for nearly two years now and I love it as much today as I did on my first day, even though I had never worked in care before. All the carers I work along side with and the office staff are great, always ready to help me me if help is needed. My Supervisor arranges coffee meetings which we attend in our own time, which are always informative but at the same time we have a laugh and get to know our fellow carers. But the best part of the job is going to visit my clients who are like an extended family to me and knowing that I make a difference to their daily lives. I treat them as I would want my family treated and would always recommend Home Instead to anyone who needs that extra help or someone who was looking for a change of carer.

I have only worked with HISC for just over 6 months. I feel like part of a loving family. All the staff are lovely and so helpful. All the other caregivers that I have met also enjoy their work. Special thanks go to Lisa, my team leader, who has always been at the end of the telephone should I need her and is excellent at giving advice and feedback. She has given me feedback from my clients, which has really boosted my morale.



Today I have been honoured to receive the CAREGiver Recognition award for June 2017.
