About Honeybourne Massage Practice

Professional & insured holistic & deep tissue massage

Honeybourne Massage Practice Description

The effects of massage on the body can be dramatic, whether it be for the purpose of performance or relaxation. I myself have used it in the past to enable greater range of movement and /or performance when needed in sport, as well as to relax and clear my mind from the stresses we can all so easily encounter. If you are looking to relax and organize your thoughts, I would strongly recommend Swedish head /face & hand massage, or if you are feeling particularly luxurious - full body. If you need help releasing adhesion within the muscles or tendons or to enable greater elasticity /suppleness, then you may want to consider deep tissue /passive movement techniques.

Whatever you choose, we can run through a thorough consultation regarding your health, lifestyle and consider together any conditions you have which may guide the direction of the treatment. All information is confidential and you can have the confidence to know that where necessary, my course of action may be to do nothing and advise you seek the help of a medical professional.

Where required I can work with you to create a report /portfolio of treatment, relating to your Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. This can be useful to present to your GP /Physician (who should always be made aware of additional treatments you may be receiving) but also it can help to create a reference and breadcrumb trail for future appointments, or your own training considerations.

Whatever your needs you can be assured of sound professionalism, service and advice. Testimonials are also available by request if you wish.

I am available to travel to clients locations or treatments can be undertaken at a clinic in Cirencester.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks for taking the time to visit Honeybourne massage practice.

I think its fair to say that this article is aimed at the whole food as opposed to the favoured bottled variety! Enjoy the run into the weekend everyone and drink responsibly. Hangover remedies to follow in the next few days for those of us who are a little more "impulsive"

Hips don't lie! - not just useful for surfing (and board sports in general), these stretches improve your flexibility in and around the hips and core. Think about, and try and place more emphasis on the elasticity of your larger, central muscle groups.

Happy national Watermelon month!
Those of us not fortunate enough to live in the tropics are often put off Watermelon because of cartoon fueled association with "seed admin". The reality is you just cut it into convenient bite size chunks. This is a genuine easy win when it comes to nutrition!

Personally I like green tea, going for a run and bacon sarnies!... failing that - not drinking the night before...
Albeit the last thing you may want to do with a hangover, exercise and hydration are logical remedies. Exercise speeds up your metabolism, quickly removing toxins from the body through respiration, filtration & perspiration. Before and after exercise, replenish the body with fluids and essential nutrients.
