Back on it making eco-silver pebble earrings, bangles, sea-glass and chalcodonay rings and a reset opal ring in my sunny shed today after a weekend of lolling. . Hope you're all muddling on 🙂

If you'd like to join in with my silver demos and workshops online, here's a basic shopping list for soldering tools and equipment to set up a basic silver workshop:
From cooksongold.com (this is for the 3 online workshops I'm going to do to make stacker rings, bangle and handmade chain): soldering torch heat mat or block... bench peg and anvil 2mm silver wire: about 7cm per ring, about 22cm for a bangle 1.2mm and 1.0mm wire for chain: about 50cm of each medium silver solder strip liquid flux or borax cone safety pickle
Things you might already have or can get on Ebay cheap: Flat-nosed pliers and snips tin snips (to cut solder) ball hammer medium file needle files old slow cooker (or can put it in a pan on low) kitchen scrubber and duster wire-wool

My home jewellery workshop/music room being put to full use at the moment 😁

I'm really sorry everyone, but I've had to reschedule the April 18th Stacker ring workshop until 25th July due to Covid-19. If you can't make that date, don't worry, your workshop credit is valid for a year.
I am going to do the stacker rings online as a Facebook live on the 18th April though, so if you'd like to watch and have a go if you have soldering gear, you're more than welcome. I'll add it as an event now.
I'll also be doing demos for the chain-making and bangles too.... As well as accessible craft workshops in our Stuck in Craft group
Invite whoever you'd like to join us at any of them, they're free!

I know it's disappointing that I've had to reschedule my silver workshops so wondering if you'd be up for free, simple project ones online to make up for it until we can meet again?! 😁
Let me know what you reckon: if you wanted to join in you'd need a basic soldering kit but I can help you sort that.
... I'd use fb live for the demo and Zoom for the interactive help bit: so you need to download the Zoom app onto your phone from the play store.

Really enjoyed making this enamelled rockpool necklace for a lovely online customer. . Going to spend some of our enforced downtime doing more enamelling I think.
