Compex installation at new gas site near Guildford
Our Compex electricians recently carried out an installation at a new gas site near Guildford.
The control container was built in our workshops transported to site, where it was installed, wired, and commissioned onsite.
... The project was delivered on time and on budget.
The site is now LIVE and producing 1MW of power into the grid.

IME Group are proud to announce that Cemex are our first customer to place an order for the Feasibity Study to be carried out on their 2 F class vessels, for Retrofit Ballast Water Treatment Systems.

Ballast Water Treatment Roadshow comes to IME Southampton. The Alfa Laval Ballast Water Treatment Roadshow came into IME for a demonstration on 22nd March, and for customers to see the equipment first hand.

The lease has just been signed for the new Repair Services North East Division building in the gated enclose of AV Dawsons, on the Riverside Park, Middlesborough.
The building is being equipped with various machinery including lathes, presses, fork lift trucks etc, to create a repair facility for marine and industry in this area.
The facility is aimed at the marine industry, shipping companies and repair yards.

IME & BMT worked together to present an effective end-to-end Ballast Water Treatment seminar held at St Marys stadium in October.
6 major fleet managers attended the seminar to hear of the ballast water treatment solutions on offer.
Due to the continued success of the seminar, it is planned to book future events.

Heron Refit Southampton
The IME Group have now grown and are now undertaking refits in Southampton docks.
IME Group have just recently completed a refit of the Sand Heron for Cemex Marine. Work involved the extensive fabrication and welding of the vessel alongside in southampton docks.
... This was completed 5 days earlier than planned, and the client was very happy with the overal results.
The Health & Safety processes and general attention to safety of the work was found to be very positive and reassuring.
Close to 100 safety inductions were made during the refit.
Safety matters are often reported when something goes wrong, and it is pleasing to be able to provide some positive feedback.
Overall it was very positive feedback and was highly commended by Lloyds register, particularly due to the confined space entry and evacuation arrangements.
