IMPROVE 2- Online CBT for Depression.
Prof Ed Watkins from the Mood Disorders Centre has launched an innovative trial to better understand the active ingredients of online cognitive behavioural treatment (CBT) so that we can build stronger, better and more widely available treatments. The IMPROVE 2 trial provides free and open access to online cognitive-behavioural therapy for people with depression, supported by online guidance from a trained therapist. The treatment study is open to participants who can write and understand English who are experiencing the symptoms of depression. Only those not currently receiving other psychotherapy /talking therapy can be invited to take part.
