Traditional cut roof constructed and roof tiling almost completed. We have the valley cuts to finish and then mortar them in. The rain water gully has been constructed between the new and existing roof using 18mm marine plywood and will be completed externally with a grey GRP finish for longevity.

Day 1 for a complete new family bathroom and replacement of exterior soil stack with relocation of pipework to tidy up the exterior. The bathroom will now comprise of a shower bath, vanity units, one piece sink/worktop, back to the wall toilet pan and tall towel rail. The room will have light grey tiles finished off with LED lighting and mirror/shaver point.

Brickwork progressing well. A cavity tray has now been correctly installed above the bifold doors with weep vents - there was no cavity tray found after brickwork was removed following the dismantling of the existing pitched roof. We have installed a damp proof membrane over the entire new floor to protect the dining room below and left a hole in the brickwork to allow any rain to escape. We are not far away from being able to construct the traditional cut roof with valleys and rain water gully.

Complete new fencing and gates installed to the rear and side of the extension and the garden completely redesigned and landscaped for a maintenance free lifestyle. Just the new grey garden furniture required and a few pots for a splash of colour.
We salvaged the buff slabs from the old patio prior to starting the extension and enhanced these with a contrasting grey slab and a few extra buff slabs. The centre is finished in Cotswold buff chippings and the ground prepared prior to installation to ensure good drainage.
The patio joints have been filled with contrasting resin granules which allow the patio to be jetwashed in the future without having to worry about holes appearing, unlike a mortar joint.
