Here’s a video from someone the children may recognise! He’s not normally around this time of year, but he has a special message for all the boys and girls who can’t come to nursery at the moment 💖🎅🏽

After a very strange and busy couple of weeks, we took the decision to temporarily close our Longlevens and Quays sites and operate from Barnwood for the time being. Taking key team members from each site we were apprehensive about how the children would adapt to the change on Wednesday morning with hardly any warning.
Well, we needn’t have worried! They have been absolute superstars. ✨We have been amazed with how resilient, happy and carefree they have all been. Making ...friends with each other within minutes, exploring their new surroundings and bonding with our amazing staff who have been instrumental in making the transition as easy as possible. The children have all taken it in their stride and it’s made a very difficult week for us grown ups, very comforting. 🤍
To all the children who sadly cannot come to nursery at the moment. We miss you all and can’t wait until this is all over. We are definitely going to have a big party to celebrate when the time comes! We hope you are all keeping safe at home. 🌈🏡
To our team members who are at home self-isolating, looking after poorly family members, or on furlough, we send you our love and please stay safe. 💖
Finally, to our team members who are making a huge sacrifice by still coming into work under difficult circumstances and putting on your brave faces for the children when you have fears of your own. You deserve nothing but praise and respect for what you are doing. Thank you doesn’t seem enough. 👏🏼🙌🏼
For now this is our “new normal” and whilst we (like everyone!) can’t wait for things to get back to how they should be, we will continue to provide a safe, nurturing and fun environment for the children to attend whilst their mummies and daddies are contributing to making our country safe again. 🥰

A beautiful rainbow has appeared in our Unders room today, using our children’s handprints 🌈 🌈 You will be able to spot it from the car park 🤗😊

Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful staff and parents 💕💕

Today the children took a wander to the Quays. They had written messages of hope in a card and dotted them around to make people “feel better”.
Very strange and emotional times.
We can’t wait until we’re all back together again.

Our job is to look after your children. Our AMAZING team have all come into work today and will continue to maintain normality for your little ones. ❤️
We will continue to build dens, dance with the children to upbea...t music, read exciting stories, go on bear hunts, run around outside, have tea parties in our home corners and snuggle your babies to sleep. 🍼🐻✨
